Ok, i have lost my patience with these stereotyped negative posts about PV being slow, Guru's talent being wasted, etc etc ! And therefore had to make a post on this.
Personally i find PV quite interesting, and perfectly paced. Yes, it was slow in the second week, and two epis in the third week ...but since then, it has picked up brilliantly. We already hv the wedding rituals begining.
About Yash not getting enough screen space, i agree he didn't get enough screen space in the second week...but after that, we hv got him in all episodes.and quite a lot of him, in fact there hv been 2-3 episodes, where we got him more than aarti. Only last thursday and friday, we got a small glimpse.but thats perfectly fine! I don't think he has less screen time.
Yes, he has less dialogues, but thats his character which will change after wedding. After wedding, we will see him getting close to Ansh.and then his interactions with aarti.also we will be getting more flashes of his past...Aarti's character has been explored more now, Yash's character will be explored more after the wedding, we will get to see various aspects of Yash through aarti's eyes...we will know more about his past with aarti, we will see him being affectionate to ansh with aarti, we will see him standing against wrong with aarti, and thus we will fall in love with Yash along with aarti (i hv already fallen for him though😆)
Ppl should understand that this is a different type of a love story...and its for the family audience, so other supporting characters will be important here, and we won't be having all episodes dedicated only to the leads.as far as i am concerned, i love that.i love all the supporting characters here.and am equally eager to watch Prateek-Paridhi begin their new life, as I am for Aarya...and i think thats a great achievement for any show..to create parallel tracks which r equally interesting.
Now, as far as i hv seen in the real world- among my family, my friends, their families - PV has been appreciated everywhere...Its only here in IF that i see some ppl coming up with negative posts...though majority here too hv no problem.
I know everyone has a right to express their opinion, and i am not stopping anyone to...constructive criticism is always welcome.believe me, i myself hv one or two points to criticize about PV (in aonother post, may be😆), but using words like "lame story","i hate the cvs", surely doesn't cm under constructive criticism. I hv been watching television shows since i don't know when...and there is hardly any tv show which i have not watched...I can say with guarantee, i have never till date seen a flawless tv serial...forget serial.i hv rarely seen a flawless bollywood movie!😆...so, obviousy PV has some faults too...but the good points definitely outweigh the negative ones.
Please everyone share ur opinion too...constructive criticism is welcome, but please refrain from using negative words such as quoted above.😃
