I personally hope the three kids start becoming best friends and love each other! 😃

I know there is going to be friction because all of them are going to be competing for their parents attention. It will be high drama because the relationships include step-kids and step-parents which makes everyone insecure. People always forget sibling rivalry happens without the "step" part. How many times have I gone after my Mom against my brother and sister? How many times did I think I hated them because I thought Mom loved them more? 😆

I really hope Punar Vivah shows mixed marriages work and the love is just as strong as any other kind of family! Wouldn't it be so nice to have all the kids in school together and the three kids taking care of and protecting each other? I hope they work together to get their parents together... I hope they try to have Yash and Aarti have another kid so they can play with the baby! 😉

I can totally imagine little Ansh protecting his sisters from playground bullies...after all, he's his mother's son! won't that be too cute?!

I think the kids are going to have friction because not only are they becoming siblings, but they seem to be around the same age group.

@Churri Very true! But even siblings close in age or very far apart have their issues because kids are kids and they want unconditional love from their parents which they think is 24/7 attention. That is impossible for even an only child to receive because parents are pulled in so many directions because of job, family, children, and living responsibilities.

Friction is inevitable because of the step-parents and step-kids situation and the living adjustments everyone has to make but that is normal and honestly I think healthy because they will all understand each other, grow closer, and learn to overcome natural selfish desires. Given the MIL, disgruntled Aunt, strict father, and traditional family setting, it is just a matter of how much everyone in the extended family is going to blow things out of proportion. There is a reason why Americans have nuclear families but there is also a reason why extended families work.

Still, the kids being the same age can help things work out. They will need similar things and the kids can do things together allowing for more bonding. They can go to classes together, celebrate and play together, have school functions together, and help each other with their school work. Of course there will be competitions and they will want to outdo each other but I think they can have fights that will bring them together. Ansh protecting his sisters from bullies as well as Palak and Payal consoling and helping Ansh.

i think initially there will be some friction because it will take some time for the children to accept the step one in the real place, mostly with palak and payal becoz they have some apprehensions about the step mother. With ansh it will be more easy as he has already accepted Yash as his father and I think he don't have any memories of his actual father.

But with time and love of Yash and Aarti the children will bond better and love eachother.
