Apologies for the long delay in posting this...

It's been difficult to write about this episode because like many of you, I found the abuse hard to watch. Yes, I call it abuse, not PDA in the usual sense, but more of Public Display of Abuse! I'm not going to say much, because the whole episode and the dark undertones left me feeling queasy again. 😕
Didn't people notice how uncomfortable Sarita was? Again, what should have been a romantic evening was tarnished by Vikrant's malice. I cannot believe he deliberately held her back and left marks on her arm - it's as if he's trying to imprint on her, to assure his ego that she is his and he will not let her get away. 😡

I am sure the creatives are trying to give the audience some kind of message about marital abuse, but I'm not so sure having the lead do so is a good idea. Especially since they are trying to use this show to encourage people to do a PV. Sarita remarried in order to find the happiness she was deprived of for 10 years, but it looks like that's not going to happen. She will have to battle it out with her growing list of adversaries. She is a fictional character and while I advocate women being strong, not every real life woman will take a positive social message away from this track. It remains to be seen how the CVs handle the tricky parts.

One thing they brought up at the outset is that in many households this is how marital abuse begins. Men become angry, and express it physically, subtle or not and wives find excuses for it, thinking their husband is stressed, in a bad mood, didn't mean it, etc. "Oh, sometimes he loses his temper, but it's not his fault. He really loves me and doesn't mean to hurt me." And so goes the cycle of abuse. Sarita, bless her, isn't a weak person, but right now her love is blinding her to the reasons behind changes in Vikrant's behavior. She knows something's off but she isn't investigating the feeling. It is understandable at this stage, because she is trying really hard to rebuild her life, and Vikrant's behavior until now has been pretty good.

Eijaz was brilliant in his cold, calculating mode. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I suspect his way of punishing Sarita with a surprise will be to ensure Raj and Divya are in her face at all times because he thinks that will torment Sarita. She will show her genuine happiness at their reunion but Vikrant will take it as further proof of her two-faced nature trying to hide her real feelings about Raj's PV. Little does he know...

If only Vikrant would pay attention to what Divya's trying to tell him: "Pyar kismat se nahin milta, pyar tapasya karne se milta hai, tyaag dene se milta hai...ek dusre pe vishwaas karne se milta hai". I expect his attempts at riling Sarita will involve deliberately doing all the negative things she's been training him to stop. Where once her honest attempts at keeping the family happy would floor him, he is going to take every action the wrong way and wonder what an Oscar-winning actress she is with her fake mothering role. The fact that she's fasting for him caught him by surprise and did soften him for 1 millisecond before his cynicism took over and saw deceit even in that.

His mind is working overtime, and the stress is telling. This man would never have let Rohan come anywhere near his family, but now he just gives in. Some part of him is doing this to hurt Sarita, and I think he will find out the hard way how evil Rohan and his family is, and what they actually did to Sarita and Sheila a few months ago.

He is picking up the tail end of conversations and getting 2+2=5; of course that's what happens when you eavesdrop - at least try and catch the conversation from start to end, Vikrant! 😔 I hope they won't go on a double-date style honeymoon because things will go further downhill, and at the end of everything, all the plotting and planning, when the truth is revealed, he is going to to come out looking like a fool. Until Vikrant introspects, he won't be able to get rid of his vengeful thinking. As they say "Shak ka koi elaaj nahin hota hai".

I am happy Raj is putting his best foot forward at each step of his new life; whether he really loves Divya or not, he's not going to deprive her of any wifely rights. This was the highlight of the episode for me, that he held nothing back. It was as if the floodgates opened and he finally let himself experience the joy that he had missed out on all these years. 😊

Sarita, please stop challenging Vandana - it doesn't do to push your luck all the time...I am in the strange position of waiting eagerly for tomorrow's episode and not looking forward to it at the same time. How many of you are in the same boat? 😕

Your yesterday take was so beautiful.
I am just going to mention senario towards which i think the story is proceeding.
I feel Vikrant will keep bringing Raj and Dyvia in front of Sarita to make her guilty. We might get honey moon track. I feel Raj will see the tension between VISA and try to resolve the issue. While doing that he will not tell Dyvia and Dyvia will get insecure. Once the misunderstanding clears between Sarita and Vikrant we will have another misunderstanding between Raj and Dyvia. Here Sarita might get angry and stay away from Vikrant which will drive him crazy. Dyvia will turn grey but until than Sarita will have Vikrant by her side. So it will be like puzzle one get solved and than we have another one.

I do not thing Vikrant will kill Sarita. On KC i hope the surprise is to bring Dyvia and Raj along. The only other thing could be ( i hope not) that will get intimate with Sarita. If that happen than they ruin Vikrant. Let us hope for the best.

i dont think vikrant would get intimate to sarita out of revenge. if he did toh it would be out of love only. he cant use women. he can be abuser but not user. and in todays epi vikrant said a suprise which will shock sarita, so maybe like he would bring raj or he would himself come late.

Dont feel like posting today. Vik's manhandling was disturbing to watch. It seems very out of character for a man who supposedly respects women a lot.

Wanted to wish everyone a very happy Diwali.

I second you buddy...!!

I couldn't make anything out of his abusive PDA...the scene took me back to his words with Raj "Man are physically strong but emotionally weak who needs support" his behaviour is completely in sync with his state...he used masculinity to hurt her and she gracefully brushed off is behaviour as work tension.

I wish he regains his senses ASAP

@bold - spot on!

I think the more aggressive Vikrant gets, the more he proves this statement to be true! I hope the CVs don't go too far with it and ruin his image!
