Yeah he is like that... But i think this is important for story to progress.. When he will come to know that he was just being misunderstood. What he will do . I think it will be more interesting to watch, his repatance, his guilty.. And what he will do to sarita after knowing the truth,i think it will give more strenghth to their relationship.

Sorry to know that dear. We all are in this together ... None of us are spared the dogma. Even men are abused by expecting them to be masculine... That is why the portrayal of cold blooded protagonist are really not my cup of tea. It is a mutual expectation which is why I always call our society dysfunctional. It is really a sad state that we don't recognize the abuse and we pass it on to generations saying in the name of tradition and custom. Women and men have some natural abilities and strengths... but people over generations have used their roles for their own benefits...

I believe in domino effect. Every action of mine effects someone in the chain of my connections. That is why I believe in spreading messages about self-respect, safe guarding ourselves from emotional abuse - which is so deeply connected to physical & sexual assaults. These terms have deep meanings. Also, even how to improve our emotional intelligence.

overall, I can really feel what you say and I agree with you what effect such tele-serials with such messages can do to the society... and I agree very well with you. The only thing we could do is share our thoughts and also tell what would be a ideal situation if we are in same boat... this trigger a series of thought process in every individual who reads it and eventually find strength in themselves and also be in peace with a situation.. make sure that they recognize abusive patterns.

I watch crime patrol very regularly... in that anup soni concludes every session with a thought provoking phrase... what if we could just take a moment of our anger and process it ... things would have been different... that is very very true... at the same time it gives assurance too that what would happened couldn't have been reverted even if we thought we had control... sometimes societal norms are so deeply ingrained that you cannot fight back with the system without being deeply scarred...in such situations the only hope is that we remove ourselves from the lives of those people and regain our self-confidence and ensure that we are emotionally healthy to ensure that we do not get into such abusive relations (recognizing the pattern and being aware).

I really hope you are not in such a situation anymore. hoping the best for you.

It has been a very lengthy response... but have been enjoying sharing my thoughts here... and thank you for responding to my thoughts !

Thank you! :) your post made me cry.

It is so true about the domino effect, you know like I am not saying we lack agency but we often work within the system and our actions are defined by the system, and whatever we do may be indirectly informing something else we would not condone otherwise.

This is why pointing it out on TV is so important, because it's our desensitizing to this kind of violence which has an effect on violence which makes the news media. Our silences against all forms of patriarchal (both affecting men and women, and men who are abused because they do not fulfil some kind of ascribed masculinity) are not silences that simply have no affect.

I like that Crime Patrol part, it's true, if we can start by reverting moments of anger that is a start, very direct violence and then we can undo the indirect causes of violence. It's true, often the system takes part in silencing violences against us, or shaming the victim instead.

I am no longer in that situation, and have confronted my abuser. However, it is triggering because like I try to highlight to people that we should not be silent about any form of patriarchy and if we can engage in an educated discussion mayber we will all walk away wiser, have learnt so much from you, so I know it is well worth it :)

I don't like the fact that Vikrant wants to kill Sarita, for decieving him. Logic doesn't exist when it comes to indian tv shows, don't know what the makers are trying to prove with this 😕 As much i'm loving their contrasting views about each other, and the intensity, the idea of killing someone is bothering me. 🤔

I find it totally creepy! It's also strange that Sarita doesn't notice anything different. She seemed so intuitive before!

if Vikrant loves Sarita then he should have respected her feelings, even if there were any for Raj, after all he forced her into this marriage... bt loathing to an extent of planning a revenge nd murdering her... they r butchering Vikrant's character😔

Thank you everyone for your reply, I agree with you all, the CVs are not only glorifying psychopathic behaviour but making it hard for us to connect to their romance.
