I was a bit hesitant to come to this forum to post this VM as I have not participated in this forum for a long time and do not follow this show anymore. Initially, I had thought of making three VMs - one for each character. I had songs in mind for Raj and Sarita, but it was a song for Divya that was eluding me. But when they showed a disillusioned Divya leaving the city, I found a perfect song for her. But lack of time was the reason for not making the song that time. Also, Raj and Sarita's characters changed so drastically that songs I had in mind did not suit them at all. Divya is the only one who has been left intact so far and hence this song for her.

The VM is titled "The Story Left Untold", and is based on the song "Ankhaee", a beautiful song from the movie "Lootera". This song suits Divya because her story was left untold both literally and figuratively. Divya came back with great expectations as she had kept her illusions about Raj and "true love" intact for a long time, only to find that things do not hold constant for anybody. She left a disillusioned person after finding that a person she had put on pedestal for so many years had feet of clay. That the memory of the past was more perfect than the reality. So she left to start a new life, hopefully free of all illusions and just putting past behind as a beautiful memory that can be visited, but cannot be re-lived.

The title is based on a song "The Story Left Untold" by an American Band "Every Avenue". Some of lyrics of the song are :

Karush, thanks for letting me know. It is blocking this video is some countries. So will either reload it to youtube or load it to vimeo or some other website. I like to load VMs on youtube as it is just click and watch rather than going to a different webpage.

Thank u for uploading it on vimeo and for the translation! Loved the video, its proof that Divya and Raj had a story to tell yet was killed too soon..very beaitiful vm! detailed comment on our cb forum 😉

Myra, thanks for liking it. I agree that Raj/Divya had an unfinished story and they did not even show a closure scene between the two. Also both characters had great chemistry that was unfortunately not utilized. I was not necessarily looking for them to be together, but they never explored the emotional stunted behavior of Raj or Divya's struggles. I just hope that Divya's character is never brought back because a character like that does not return again and again to the same place. She came once, got her dreams/illusions broken and left with dignity. Hope they leave it at that.

Thanks Angie. Lovely VM. Its one of your best ones. As for Divya, I want her to be left where she is. Let her be where she is and I hope she will find happiness and peace someday.
