Hmm...just read the TOI article in newspaper...(man good promotion, but was expecting a full page poster in front...sigh)

Okay certain things that I loved in the article

a) Firstly i am glad the way Divya's character is brought forward. So she leaves Raj not for her fame but because she had to support her siblings after her parent's pass away. Well, we knew that she won't leave her love for fame but the exact reason was unknown as well. This reason is a very strong one and would let us empathize with her character. She being the eldest would have all the responsibility on her shoulder and hence would be forced to go away from Raj. Poor girl, she had to sacrifice her entire future for her siblings.

One question though, couldn't she have done this in Bhopal itself, staying closer to Raj? I am confused and hope they give me answer for this as well...may be she was trying to bring her siblings in a better fashion and tv industry would give her that money.

b) So she comes back to Raj after 10 long yrs and finds him to be a married man! Oops and again decides to get married to some other man who does not love her for fame. Coming to this point, Divya may be a person surrounded by people who like her because she is rich. Infact i feel that even her siblings would be like that as well. Not sure though. But her brother in law (the TB article states that Vikas grover will be her sister's husband -- ghar jamai types) sure seems like a leech...who is out there to sit on her money and have it. So i guess, she will be a successful but a lonely person completely.

c) Sarita's character seems to be one head strong person who has become strong after being in n unwanted relationship for 10 long yrs. She is a person who gives perfect answers back. Hmm interesting, would want to see how this character is!!

But wait the article left me confusing as well. Shristy in her interview says, she has been married for 10 yrs, if that's the case then who's marriage is taking place today then?I mean in the precap they show PV1 members being invited for Raj's wedding and Sarita in the garb of Bride. So why are they saying they have been in the marriage for 10 yrs?

I would actually want the story to showcase the story as two people being in an embittered marriage for 10 yrs. Reason:- If they show suddenly after marriage Sarita discovers about Raj- Divya relation and decides to sacrifice her marriage, the story may not go down well with the audience (just my pov) however, if she has been frustrated in the relation for 10 long yrs, the battle is not just for Raj-Divya to unite but to free herself as well...and this manner the audience would themselves want Sarita and Raj to get separated. They would then empathize with all the characters, rather than feeling sorry for Sarita and actually thinking that it's Sarita's right to have Raj! So i hope its their 10 yrs of marriage!

Nah, It should not be shown as extra martial affair...but as a relation where two lovers pine to be with each other and yet cannot because they are limited by boundaries...

Yeah, there is a Ghar Jamai. I am liking it. They are giving good reasons and depth to the characters now.
