Why not that Famous?????

Before Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan, very few people knew about Prithvi-Sanyo love story. I mean compared to other pairs like laila-majnu, romeo-juliet, salim-anarkali, love story of this pair Prithvi-Sanyo is not that well known. Why so ?

According to me, reason is that----------- Pri-Sanyo's love story succeded, unlike others. That is they got married in the end.

What do u people think? Or is it that, according to u their love story is as famous as others in the world?

Quite true..The PRC-Sanyo Love story is NO WHERE as famous as Laila-Majnu,Romeo-Juliet,Heer-Ranjha etc..But,that does NOT mean that it is NOT as beutiful at there's..INFACT,IT IS THE most beautiful Love story I have EVER heard 😳 ..But,I got to know bout their Love tory when I was in the 8TH Standard..Cuz,my History text-book had 10 lines about PRC..But,1 chapter about PRC & Sanyo 😆

Actually the reason I think is that it was never brought out in many ballads or verses.PRC era ended and then India was taken over by Muslims and then they were busy in developing their culture.Unlike other love stories which were often mentioned by poets and authors this story was written only by Chand Bardai (if I am not mistaken)before James Tod took over.

Ya phir unki badnami bahot hui or ...... their love stories had big political impact?

But yaar Pri-Sanyo ke love story se hi toh hindustan ki kismat badli hai........ don't u think this is the main reason for the downfall of pri. Still it was not highlighted....... i mean how much required.

no his luv 4 her didnt lead 2 his downfall..although sum buks say so..bt dis isnt true..he did luv her bt never neglected his duties 4 her..if he was so crazy 4 her..he wudnt hav gone on digvijay n all..wud hav instead run behind sanyo😳

YEP...PRC and Sanyo are the best jodi ever and their story is a successful love story and very modern for its time...good going Miss Ppiyu.

See, according to serial....... he went on Digvijay after breaking up with Sanyo and acc to many books, when he went on Digvijay he wasn't in love with Sanyo..... See I am not blaming him for the downfall..... but whenever we talk about his downfall, ultimately their love story is highlighted.....
