As for Prithviraj, after being blinded and tortured at Ghori's court, his only succor were the encouraging words of his court poet and friend, Chand Bardai. With the help of his friend, Prithviraj managed to kill Mahmud Ghori. Prithviraj, of course, was immediately put to death, but Chand Bardai survived to tell the story of the royal hero 😲 in the epic Hindi ballad, Prithviraj Raso, parts of which are extant even today.

well according 2 my knowledge, ghori n his courtiers tortured prithvi whn he was a prisoner!!! n at dat time his loyal frnd chand came 2 his rescue 2 be wit him in his times of misery...
prithvi killed ghori by "shabd bedi" as his eyes had been burnt wit red hot iron rods by ghori!!! 😭
n as chand n prithvi did not want 2 die at d hands of ghori's courtiers... dey stabbed each other!!
thus ends d brave but hard 2 believe story of d gr8 legend v call PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN..
