It's been an issue since 2001 to get revised History books. The new Historians wanted their recognitions and they researched to make the old Historians wrong!

It's not only Prithviraj Chauhan, they have raised questions about the beliefs on Mahabharat, Ramayan and many (a long list - check on the net) freedom fighters.

But the new History book is strongly being protested and still under discussion. I hope, this new NCERT History book doesn't get approved to teach our future generations that their ancestors have nothing to offer them about Indian culture, values and bravery.

It's truly sad that the Historians are researching to demolish strong and inspiring beliefs of past. Instead they should research to change a bad historical character to good.

And, our democratic India gives a chance to let this change happen! Politicians have forgotten their duties to pass the strong background and pride of being an Indian to our future generations!

What can be our part on this? Can we do something about it? Any ideas?
Please don't take me wrong. I know we are here for fun. But as today's Indian generation we should have the awareness of our power as citizens.

i completely agree these historians are trying to change history and i think the only thing we can do in protest is stop learning from these books as they teach us utter nonsense
