Two of Ekta's shows Bade Acche Laggte Hai onSony TV and Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka on Colors are now running at the same time slots on weekdays. Last week Sameer Soni who essays the role of Kunal in Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka told india-forums.com that from now on two shows of the same production house (Balaji Telefilms) will be competing with one another. The catch here however is that we are clueless as to what numbers the shows are fetching as we won't be getting TAM sheets for two months.

Last week Bade Acche Laggte Hai had a TRP of 3.3 whereas Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka was fetching 2.3. Some viewers who prefer to go to bed early may be giving Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka a miss after the late night shift. Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahawon't be telecast till next year- the show did have a strong fan following. For some it may have been a tough choice as to whether to watch Bade Acche Laggte Hai or Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha if they liked both the shows. However if they aren't Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka fans too they may be tuning in to watch Bade Acche Laggte Hai now.

Punar Vivah on Zee TV also at the 10:30pm slot also attracts a large chunk of viewers. Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya at the same time slot on Star Plus will soon go off air.

Both shows Bade Acche Laggte Hai and Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka are slightly similar though the delineation and characterization are totally different. In both stories the innocent wife has been released from jail. The kids in both the shows are being a catalyst in uniting their parents.

So which show will be ahead in TRP two months later? Sunny Goraya who plays Rishab in Bade Acche Laggte Hai says, "Bade Acche Laggte Hai is always bade. It was much ahead in TRP to Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka anyway, so it will surely emerge as the winner at the end of two months."

Deepti Shrikant who plays Saumya on Bade Acche Laggte Hai says, "Both the shows are of different genres and have different story lines. Bade Acche Laggte Hai is a mature love story. As both belong to the same production house, the competition will be very sporting. We after all belong to the same family. However since Bade Acche Laggte Hai has Ram Kapoorit may be ahead in TRP."

Aarti Singh who plays Seema in Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka says, "Both shows have different flavours and different sets of audiences. If the viewers like both the shows they may be in a dilemma on what to watch."

Prashant Jyotir, a TV actor and the father of the twin boys on Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka says, "Both shows aren't similar. In fact there will be a twist on Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka soon, maybe on Dussehra. Also who knows, maybe Abhay will turn out to be negative."

In mid-December when we get the TAM sheets again we will know exactly know what kind of TRP both the shows are clocking. However Ekta Kapoor is quite happy that for the time being as it's nirvana from TAM sheets.
