What attributes to make a good dad to their children..

If we take the example of Shakti , does he fit the criteria of a loving father to Samar..He was able to get Kesar pregnant 6 times only to kill 5 of them in her womb..Does the role of the father end with impregnating part?

ADarsh too has a daughter whom he seems to have no affection towards..it was not that long ago that he asked Komal to have an abortion..Sadly Komal had a miscarriage..Only in yesterday's episode he refers to his own child as SS granddaughter..does providing means he is a good father?

Tam wants to be a father because it will keep Arushi at home..A man who has not been able to provide the basic comforts to his wife but wants a baby for selfish reasons..does an unwanted baby bring a couple closer?

Lastly, Krishna can't be a father but he seems to be more of a loving dad to Samar..does spending time, showing love and affection makes a good father?

What makes a good dad? Your thoughts...😊

Time and attention given to the loved ones matters the most...
not just father to children but to any lvoed ones..

With faher n children...children tend to grow up in a more positive environment which might help them to grow up as pleasant individuals with healthy personality...IMO
I see this from my husband to son...

I don't think it matters whether the child is biologically yours or adopted:

My views on what a good father is:

First you should want to be a father.

A father is someone who loves his child unconditionally.

He is there to teach right from wrong.

If a child makes a mistake he is their to help him through it.

He needs to spend time with his child and make him or her feel they are special.

He needs to be able to listen to his child's view points so that when disagreements arise and they will that the child knows he can come to his father at any time and discuss things.

A father makes sure his child feels secure in his life.

He is the child's role model.

My husband and I think of our son as the most precious gift from god and it is our responisiblty to make him a wonderful young man.

I can't classify Shakti or Adarsh as good fathers.

First Shakti I don't think ever really wanted a child but just an indication of what he thinks is a symbol of his masculinity.

Adarsh I don't think ever wanted a child at least not right now.

😛

Good post. Not only adarsh and shakti but ss has also failed to be a good father. The guy who got his children married for his own selfish reasons can never be a good father!!
