A unique serial !! A Unique Male lead, never before seen in the history of TV viewing, A Unique set of characters, A ensemble of talented actors, Crisp dialogues, Strong & Meaningful Track yet MKAP Flounders, Why is that ?? ..Despite being different, having a strong content ..Why is MKAP Languishing in the bottom half ??..What is the reason ?? what would be the reason ??
Krishna & Sajjan Singh ... Both strong characters, A human character with flaws and few good points ..A character who had definite opinions and conviction ..It would not be heresy to say that it was Krishna and Sajjan Singh who drew in the viewer's , they were the hook , the bait to reel us in ..and They kept us entertained with their wit, logic, and their views ... MKAP was ruling the airwaves as long as this two were ruling the roost in the show...but mid way through... both their characters began to get diluted.. they began to be re -drawn and re-portrayed ... the core when it was revealed turned out to be just a hollow shell ...That I think reduced the interest of the general viewer's by half...
KRIYA ... They are supposed to be the lead pairs ..but instead it would be considered lucky if one got to see them together at least once in a month ... The relationship too is not woven correctly... Kriya should be portrayed more in a romantic vein since they are just beginning their life together ..This would draw the teens, the youngsters and the romantic souls ...instead of which we are presented with a couple with a been there and done that demeanor ...Most of the time it appears that they are there bec they are required to be so and not bec they want to be together ..
Pratigya ... A major complaint from my side is..she is a right-wrong machine ...and not a right -wrong human ... I am simply surprised by the Cv's refusal to turn her into human and expose her vulnerabilities..The Cv's must understand that a strong woman does not have to be carved from stone..A vulnerable woman with strong conviction's, a good moral compass will make for a strong woman too ...Second I think is the fact that Pratigya seems to have answers for anything and everything ...For a girl who has not even lived quarter of life , her overwhelming wisdom , her confident assertion bordering on arrogance and snobbishness will not go well with those set of woman who have lived through many a lives struggles, battled it and have come out of it ...I think Pratigya can be endeared if she is known to suffer from momentary qualms, a brief struggle with her conscience and the ground realities and also to speak with respect and humility when addressing elder's [ note, speaking softly does not mean speaking with respect when BL and words are at variance with the faux soft tone] ...Also an impression given is that Pratigya is more concerned about other lives and her own marital life comes last in her priority ... This feeling has to be corrected..There is nothing wrong in being self centered about one own relationship, Pratigya's stock will not come down if she is seen to be focusing on her own relationship ...In short..Pratigya has to be revamped ...Her robotic stance, her constant glare, preaching at the drop of a hat although a novelty when the show began has begun to pall now and her approach has to be changed ...
The Cv's must remember that at the end of the day, A viewer switches on the TV to de-stress, to relax ..and is not looking forward to more negativity ... Forever taking up a social issue without the interregnum of light track or even romance filled track just adds to the tiredness factor ...Tracks, many a tracks are opened without a closure and neither do the end of one track dovetail neatly into the beginning of another ..The CV's must rectify this and many a technical glitches to get the show on top or resign themselves to premature closure ...
