Komal , uncouth , crass , ill mannered though she is asked a very important question .Why the insistence on this IG Rishta , won't Arushi get other more uncomplicated rishtas ? . Look at this from a very practical point of view . . Today the condition is Arushi's elder sister should not attend the wedding with her sasuralwallahs . . Tomorrow there will be thousands of occasions where Pratigya will not be able to go with Krishna ..........family functions like God Bharaai , birthdays , family occasions etc etc . So does this mean Pratigya will not communicate with Arushi at all in the future socially except via secret phone calls unknown to the IG ? . The IG may have hIS reasons and perhaps they may be valid from HIS viewpoint . But does he know how FAR this can go ? .
Take for instance Adarsh .Tomorrow if Adarsh Komal host a function , they wud naturally want to call bOTH sisters Arushi and Pratigya . At that time will Adarsh choose one sister over another ?
A RISHTEDAARI that is starting with so many conditions and non allowance of free will , is it wORTH IT ?
Aman may be an eligible groom , but there r many others too , who are less complicated than his family baggage ! Why opt only for Aman , after all it was not a love marraige !
What is sooooo good about this Rishta that cases r dismissed for them , one daughter is sidelined for them , atrocious conditions r quietly listened to for them ? . How about Shamu saying respectfully with joint hands that Sorry , then we must decline . We understand your position , but we cannot permanently sideline our elder daughter . This won't work .Lets cut it here then . We cannot constantly remain in a position of choosing between two daughters , this will be an endless situation for LIFETIME .If Pratigya had an ounce of sense she would know that her father has in polite words told her NOT TO COME TO THE MARRAIGE . In other words he told her to STAY OUT .

Pratigya has witnessed how her Father bent his principles under name of RISHTEDAARI NIBHAANI HAI in front of the IG . Now he is telling her STAY OUT . Loving your biological father is all very fine , but there are times when offence has to be taken .
The IG came yesterday in Shamu's life . Pratigya is born from his loins. Who is closer , IG or Pratigya ? And why should he disassociate himself from his elder daughter for the word or principles of a man whom he barely knew a few days ago ?
Forget the Ego issue of Sajjan Singh .Think ONLY from Pratigyas point of view . Its a choice between IG and Pratigya . And why shud it be the IG ?
Arushi was right that I dont want the marraige that doesnt permit me to even invite my sister .

How about putting his foot down and telling his Dad that on a long term basis these atrocious conditions wont work anyways , sorry , I will do simple court marraige then ? Does Shamu have any shame that he is going purposefully to Sajjans house to be insulted tomorrow to TELL HIM PATRONISINGLY THAT HE IS NOT GONNA BE INVITED FOR THE WEDDING ?

Sometimes I think Shamu LIKES drama and does all this on PURPOSE . And I also felt today when Pratigya tipped her Dad WHATEVER HAPPENS DONT LET THE RISHTA BREAK ..........that they r all one . She , Adarsh , her Dad ...her whole infernal maayka. I felt disappointed in Pratigya that she , being a modern feminist kinda gal is telling her dad DONT LET THIS RISHTA BREAK WHATEVER HAPPENS .This means she clearly believes for the sake of rishta a girls side should follow any conditions of boys family .
