Rahm, that Krishna will always come up trumps is the basic premise of the story, so the fact that he has/ always will eventually is a total given. But if we don't allow us to get pissed with him when he is indeed being a jerk, then I think we are losing out on the delicious happiness of the times when he overcomes his baser instincts. I think we should let ourselves feel the ups amd downs of the narrative and not just engage in forum group-making exercises. It is a little counter-productive to enjoyment if you blind yourself to what the story is saying simply becasue you think that you have to be loyal to some stance you have adopted.
For my part, I like to see K flaws with his beauty. It makes his journey more exciting for me. This unvarying support of his actions when everybody knows that they are wrong in the name of some misplaced loyalty or just in some kind of forum gang-war I feel is not worthy of a real FAN of the character.
I don't mean this personally just to you I hope you understand, just said it to you because seem to be saying that fictional characters require loyalty while all they really need is for you to truly engage with them and really SEE them for what they are!
I don't deny that Baba has flaws. He obviously has many flaws.
And I'm not blinding myself because of some stance I adopted. 😕 You can't just see his reaction without the whole picture. He was stung. If Prats hadn't said that to him and Baba had acted the way he did, I'd have been very pissed at him, but because of what Prats said, I've taken his reaction not at face value but with the whole picture.
Please do not tell me what I seem to be saying because you're wrong. I don't think they require loyalty but rather I'm looking at the WHOLE picture rather than one action.
We have to see why one acts the way one does and for that one needs to see the whole picture.
