Loved your play thoroughly enjoyed it especially your comments
I don't have anything to add so I will just state my POV today !
I have seen several posts stating that Krishna does not love prats because he does not trust her and she should leave him because they disagree on a specific issue. As you know I support prats decision of filing a compliant against Amma and Shakti and I did not find her reaction hasty. But I am finding it hard to accept that he does not trust her, according to me this is not a matter of trust but of acceptance finally leading to supporting what is correct. Krishna questioned his wife at first because he was shocked in a state of confusion before he knew the outcome of the beating had led to Kesar losing her child. Now I would have liked it if he had reacted after learning the complete truth but he had an automatic reaction to the situation which was expected.
I noticed though that as soon as he learned the truth he went in to a mode of resistance a son unwilling to believe that his mother could be an accomplice in a murder of an innocent child. Krishna's reaction was natural no man would readily accept his mother to be so evil he knew she was capable of beating, taunting, and abusing, but in his mind she could not be this cruel. In this entire scenario Krishna questioned prats about what could have taken place not because he did not trust her though but because he was looking for excuses to convince prats as well as himself that Amma was innocent. As for trusting his wife in the pre cap today he stated he loved his family as well as her she knew that and he wanted her to tell Kesar to take the complaint back. If you noticed he never said either was wrong (though he knows Shakti was wrong) but his attempt to end this scenario as soon as possible proves that deep down he knows prats is correct he is simply finding it hard to put his mother in jail.
Unfortunately he has completely overlooked Kesar's grief, and prats decision to get Kesar justice he should have supported her and eventually he will until then Prats is a strong women she can handle this situation her way. Though I was disappointed with Kesar today she needs to see through her husband's pathetic act and see the reality behind his fake tears.
Now for prats leaving her husband according to me in a relationship a husband and wife are bound to have different takes on specific issues but that does not mean they should divorce one another they should respect one anther's opinions and make an effort to understand each others POV's. In Kriya's case prats understands Krishna's dilemma she proved it today by talking to him calmly and not forcing him to respond when he turned away, it's time for Krishna to see this scenario through prats eyes and understand why his wife would go to such an extant against Amma if she was completely innocent. Krishna knows prats always fights for the truth he needs to sort out his confusions as soon as possible because his family is not going to make things easier for him. I want him to differentiate between what is right and wrong before Red attempts to kill prats because by then he will see his family for what they are and support her due to love. It is quite obvious that Amma and shakti are most likely not going to end up in jail though I would love to see Krishna look past his relations and support the truth regardless of the consequences.
