pratigya???-----rolli was surprised to see her at her doorway in such an hour----tu yahan itni raat ko?
pratigya-----am sry rolli....i cudnt thnk of anywhere else at such an hour... plzz cn i stay here for tonight?
rolli grabbed her hand and took her inside-----wat r u talking abt?
she noticed her bags-----ye sab.....pratigya....wat happened? she held onto her shoulders and shook her.... she burst into tears..-----i had to do this rolli.....i did it at last.....i left krishna.....
rolli----YOU? OMG....u left him? bt why?
pratigya wiped her tears away and said-----i...i will tell u all abt it...bt plzz let me rest for sometime...my head is bursting in pain.....
rolli-----oh...sure sure....come with me..... she took her to a spare bedroom and made her lie down on the bed.... then she sat down beside her and stroked her forehead lovingly------u want somethng? i mean any pain killer.....
pratigya shook her head-----no...i just want to take rest....
rolli got up----okay..u take rest.....am down in the hall...if u need something..dnt feel shy...just call out for me..okay?
pratigya smiled----thnk u so much rolli.....
rolli----apne best frnd ko thnk u bol rahi ho...vry good.....
pratigya------ooppss..... she giggled.....
rolli------chalo aab tum rest karo... she left the room.....
pratigya let out a deep sigh...and smiled....-----aab sabkuch thk ho jayega..---she thought to herself.... and then she closed her eyes...shoving all ill feelings away frm her mind...........

rolli was cntinuously flipping over the channels of the television to find somethng interesting bt all channels were airing different types of soapy craps.... disgusted,she switched the tv off..... she hated daily soaps... she found them really stupid and unrealistic with all the people shedding gallons and gallons of tears almost emptying their tears glands...and the hero heroines nvr come together....and the vamps always keep planning stupid thngs...... they just bore her......
she was feeling really tired as it had been a hard day in office... she glanced at the clock,it was 8 p.m....to early to go to bed.. then she thot abt pratigya......and her drwsiness disappeared.....
aakhir baat kya ho sakti hain-----she thot----pratigya ne krishna ko chod diya? woh krishna jiske saath rehne ke liye usne apne mummy papa se bhi jhagra ki thi...unhe bhala bura sunakar yahan chali ayi thi......apne dum par........ aaj aisa kya ho gaya jiske liye...... nhi...hume lagta hain hume pratigya se is bare mein baat karni chahiye aur krishna se bhi......
she picked up her mobile frm the table beside and dialled krishna's number.... just as the line was abt to connect she suddenly cancelled the call.....
nhi nhi....-----she said to herself-----hume pehle pratigya se baat karni hogi........
she got up and started ascending the stairs to go to pratigya's room......to have a serious talk with her...... she was just some metres away frm her room wen she heard a shriek.....a terrible shriek..... her heart leaped up into her mouth and she ran towards the room shouting out pratigya's name.....
she pushed open the door and rushed inside..... there she was...sitting upright on the bed,her face buried in her hands...her whole body trembling like a dry leaf.... rolli ran over to her and hugged her tightly------pratigya....pratigya....kya hua? tum chikh kyun rahi thi.......kya hua pratigya?
she moved her hand up and down her back,in a consoling manner,to calm her down.......
it took a long time for her to actually calm down... wen she looked up,her face was all wet and her eyes were swollen.... rolli was vry caring abt her... she offered her a glass of water wich she gulped down quickly.....she needed it........
rolli------pratigya...ye sab kya ho raha hain....pehle to tum istarh ghar chodkar chali ayi aur fir....
pratigya grabbed both her hands and said,almost in a whisper------rolli...i need to talk to him...i need to talk to him for once.....he...he.... she cudnt say anymore as hot tears ran down her cheeks.....
rolli-----okay okay....u just wait here...am bringing my mobile frm downstairs...i will right be back......
although pratigya did nt want her to leave bt her need to talk with krishna was more than her own fears...... she nodded.......
rolli ran down the stairs,half panicked half scared for pratigya... she cudnt understand wat was happening to her...... she grabbed her mobile and ran upstairs agen..... exhausting herself on her way...she reached pratigya's room.....
here,take it------she handed her the mobile....
pratigya almost snatched it frm her hands and was abt to dial krishna's number wen rolli said----its in the call log...
pratigya looked at her,surprised... she cleared herself------i was gonna call him bt...didnt.....
okay......its okay...----she smiled at her and called krishna.......
the phone rang......once,twice,thrice.......it kept on ringing.....ultimately a lady said ina vry beautiful voice----the customer u r trying to call is nt answering......
frustrated she cut the line and called him on his landline..... she prayed to the heavens to let him pick it up...she just wanted to know he was okay........she just wanted to know this much.......
hello------krishna's voice sounded weary and broken...... her heart ached to hear it-----oh!!!....am so sry krishna...------she said in her mind......
hello...whus this-----the voice repeated agen.... she cut the line.....and heaved a sigh of relief...------thnk god.....!!!! u r okay.......!!!
she opened her eyes to see rolli noticing her carefully and suspiciously..... pratigya decided to tell her all abt it......
rolli---she started----u may thnk am mad....am crazy..bt krishna isnt like the guy u met six mnths ago...the guy i introduced to u as my boyfrnd.....he is vry vry different frm wat he appears to most of the people.....
rolli----wat do u mean pratigya....plzz explain.....?
pratigya blurted out evrythng she had gone thru in the past six mnths....krishna's anger,his possessiveness...his actions...his habit of breaking his promises.....creating scenes....and evrythng......
rolli cudnt believe her ears------OMG.....is he sooo....i cnt believe this...he seemed so cool...soo nice......
pratigya----yes rolli....evn i cudnt take it in for sometime......bt now u understand na.....u understand WHY i did it......? rolli i LOVE him...bt i CNT STAY with him.........nt until he turns to be a better human being whu wud trust me...wud care for me...wud understand me....and my feelings.....
rolli pressed her frnds'hand gently and smiled-----dnt wry pratigya....evrythng will be fine....u will get ur krishna back....the one u loved....the one whu LOVED u.... evrythng will be fine....but.... pratigya...why did u scream....? why did u screm like that a few minutes ago?
pratigya laughed-------oh that? huh...it was nothing....just a terrible nightmare....... i thnk i was thnking abt these thngs so much that my braqin exhausted and i saw such a nightmare.....
rolli-----wat did u see? was it somethng regarding krishna? u were so worried......!!!!
pratigya-----yaa...that....i..-----..... she closed her eyes and shuddered to thnk abt wat she saw......-------i saw him lying on the kitchen floor,soaked in blood....his body slashed and bruised all over...his face distorted......and....and.................. she covered her face with her hands..... she didnt want to thnk of it anymore......
rolli pulled her into her warm embrace,consoling her...--------ita okay dear.....its just a bad dream...its just a bad dream.......

pratigya was scared to look at him.....she huddled against the corner of her bed...away frm him.....
krishna said in a hissing voice-------why did u do it pratigya...i had told u NOT TO......i had WARNED U......that man....he has got some other intentions...u know that? DO U KNOW THAT? he shouted on top of his lungs... she covered her ears with her hands......
krishna was nt to be put off------i told u....that man....he....he likes u.....that bustard..... he DARED to touch u....i will rip him apart....i swear i will................
this time pratigya cudnt keep quiet anymore... she jumped over on the other side of the bed and came running to him.....
pratigya----krishna...plzzz..shant ho jao......aisa kuch nhi hain jaisa tum soch rahi ho? unhone to bas humse haath milaya tha....is project ke success ke liye...tum galat samajh rahe ho......
krishna shoved her hands away as she tried to touch him-------hume koi galatfaimi nhi hain......woh tumhe pasand karta hain......i cn see it in his eyes...... pratigya u dnt know.....these men.....they r as sly as a fox..... and u.....----he touched her cheek gently with his fingers----u r sooo beautiful...so pretty...so innocent...u dnt understand.........bt............... his expression turned furious agen-------that man....I WILL TEACH HIM A LESSON........ he was abt to dart out of the room wen pratigya stopped him by clutching onto his shirt tightly...the buttons flipped open due to her pull....
pratigya-----no...krishna...plzzz........plzzz.........dnt do like this...u dnt understand..u r making my life miserable with ur suspicions and ur wrong notions abt evryone........krishna...why CNT...u behave....normally........ she buried her face in his bare chest and sobbed......the feel of her tears on his body made him soften down a lil........ he held her tightly against himself......and tried to cntrol his roaring temper....... he cudnt bear her tears....... those precious drops of salty water.....were the only thngs that made him melt down almost immediately....... he patted her on her back.....comfortingly and said in a low voice-----pratigya plzz.......stop crying....its okay...am nt going anywhere..am nt doing anythng...its okay.........plzzz stop crying.......
she pulled herself back frm him and wiped her eyes..... she knew that it was over for the day..... bt she also knew this that its gonna be repeated agen..........
krishna smiled down at her warmly....her face lit up to see his smile...oh...how she wished that he wud keep smiling like this forever......... she smiled back......and placed her head on his chest once agen........
krishna(enclosing her in his embrace)------am sry....u know...i cnt keep cntrol of myself wen i see someone......eyeing u in a bad way.......i just..... he let out a long breath------leave it......
pratigya-----i love u krishna....and i will always do...no matter wat....... she closed her eyes...... his proximity was driving her crazy....... the whole night was there to calm him down...to shower her love on him.........************************

rolli-------i understand...... she tried to changed the subject-----waise tum aaj office ja rahi ho na....?
pratigya----of course..... she thot in her mind------i need to go there...although i am pretending that i do not love him...i myself know the truth well...i need to see whether he is okay.........
