pratigya crept up to the terrace to do her riwaaz as always,careful nt to wake anyone up.... as she ascended the last stairs..she looked up and noticed that the terrace door was open.. she was surprised...---itni subah subah kaun ho sakta hain?
she pushed it slightly and peeped in.... imran was kneeling down on a piece of white cloth... doing his prayers... unknowingly a smile appeared across her lips.. she kept on gazing at him.... through the smal opening at the door.... wen he finished and got up...she regained her ryt senses and walked towards him smartly....
pratigya----hii... good morning...
imran almost jumped up at her voice... oviously he wasnt expecting her.... he turned and frowned at her.. her smile vanished...
she cleared her throat and said----tum itni subah uth jate ho?
imran didnt reply.. he kept arranging his clothes...
pratigya---hello...imran....?
imran----kya hain?
pratigya----off..thnk god...
imran-----kyun?
pratigya----nhi pata chala ki tum bolte bhi ho.. she giggled....
imran----tum subah subah yahan mazaq karne ayi ho?
pratigya---nhi.....riwaaz karne......
he stood up straight and faced her------riwaaz?
pratigya pointed towards the sitar kept at the corner of the terrace....on a beautifully designed glass case....----wo dekho....
imran saw it----oh...tum....singer ho...
pratigya---haan....
imran sighed----thk hain...tum riwaaz karo..hum niche jate hain......
pratigya was abt to say somethng bt then she realised that theres no point in saying him anythng.. she gulped down her wrds and nodded.....
without luking at him agen,she walked towards the corner of the teraace, took her sitar and managed to sit down in the ryt position with it..white imraan started descending down the stairs wen suddenly his feet stopped moving.... pratigya's beautiful voice echoed in the skies and reached his ears..... almost mesmerizing him...... he felt he cudnt move a muscle...... her voice was soooo gentle...so pretty... evn prettier than her face... he felt like going on and on listening to her..... he didnt know for how long he had been standing on the stairs wen suddenly he was snapped out of his thoughts by the touch of a hand on his shoulder......
he turned around.... it was pratigya.. she had finished her riwaaz and had crept up behind him slowly....
pratigya smiled beautifully----tum yahan kyun khade ho?
imraan cudnt manage out a reply---woh..um...woh...tum..tum...tumhari awaz bht acchi hain.....bht khubsurat...
pratigya giggled---thnk u....
imran smiled back for the frst time.....
pratigya---aab chale?
imran---hmm....
both of them went downstairs........

after having breakfast in his room,imran came out with the dishes and met naina ji in the kitchen.... naina ji quickly took them frm his hands-----are beta...tum kyun kam kar rahe ho? ye sab aarushi kar leti na... tum....tumhe kuch chahiye?
imran---nhi..naina ji hume kuch nhi chahiye..bas abhi hum bahar jaa rahe hain...kuch kam hain... woh naukri ke talash karene ke liye kuch logo se milna hain
naina ji---to tum unko saath lekar jao na...tum waise bhi yahan kisiko thk se jante nhi ho....
imran----nhi wo humare kuch dost hain unhone kaha tha ki kuch kam hain..isiliye...bekar mein shyam ji ko pareshan karne ki zaroorat nhi hain...
naina ji---thk hain beta jaisa tum thk samjho....
imran---chalte hain...
naina ji---apna dhyan rakhna...
imran--hmm.....
he went out of the kitchen hurriedly.. he was alredy late....
in the drawing room...aarushi and pratigya were fighting for the share of a chocolate cake and running around the whole room..... as imran came in,dadi shouted to them----beta dekh ke...woh ladka....
before she cud stop them...or before they cud take a notice of her wrds....pratigya tripped over the carpet and collided with imran, slapping whole of the cake on his face......and clothes..... almost instantly her hands came up to her mouth...she gasped at wat she had done...... evn aarushi got scared... she somehow did nt like imran......
imran rubbed his hands over his face.....and then looked at pratigya sternly...as if he wanted to eat her alive..... her hands and feet became cold at once.... she ran towards her room and came back with a towel after few moments....
pratigya-----ye lo..isse saaf kar lo...
imran took the towel and wiped his face with it.....without a single word....
pratigya----tum..tumhare kapde bhi kharab ho gaye hain.... tum ise nikal do...main doosra le ati hun.....
imran moved back as she tried to show him where the stain was..... coz he thot she was abt to touch him.....
imran----kya kar rahi ho?
pratigya withdrew her hand and nodded her head vigorously----nhi....waisa nhi.....hum to..bas...
imran raised his hand and stopped her----bas....
pratigya----lekin..tum...
without giving any more chance to her to talk...he stormed out of the room..... leaving pratigya and aarushi,bewildered and feeling guilty.....

imran bhai....aap plzz istarah humse milne mat aya kijiye-----said mansoor....
imran---kyun? ismein kya harj hain....
mansoor---aapko pata nhi....upar se orders hain ki hum sirf fon par baat kare?
imran----lekin aise kaise kuch hoga...
mansoor----imran bhai... dekhiye.... hum sab yahan alag alag parichay se reh rahe hain alag alag jagah... agr hum sabko ek saath koi dekh le....ghumte hue...to police ki shak yakeen mein badal jayegi aur sara plan ek minute mein chopta ho jayega...
imran realised that his wrds were true.. he nodded---shayad tum thk keh rahe ho.. lekin hum sirf ye janna chahte hain ki bhai kab wapas aa rahe hain..aur aab humlogo ko kya karni chahiye... unhone kuch bataya hain tumhe?
rashid replied to him-----nhi...abhi headquarters se koi fon ya msg nhi aya hain... 20 din bache hain... pata nhi..... hume lagta hain ki hume bas chup chap baithkar further orders ka intezaar karni chahiye.....
imran,though nt satisfied with this,yet agreed-----thk hain..to fir hum fon par hi contact rakhte hain...aur koi further orders mile to hume beshak khabar kar dena thk hain?
he hugged both of his mates and retired.....

imran took five whole minutes to cross the road.. his bike had been given for repairing after that day's accident... coz it was giving some prblms and wasnt starting..... so he was roaming on foot.... his observant and critical eyes were capturing evrythng going around...and all the places and their minute details..as snapshots inside his brain..... he was standing near a tea shop and observing the whole place wen suddenly someone called out frm behind...-----IMRAN !!! imran... are yahan...!!
he turned and automatically a scowl appeared on his face...... pratigya was standing at the other end of the road,waving to him....smiling...
without waiting there for a second,he started walking.....
pratigya became really angry this time----ye aadmi...hume dekhkar istarh bhagne kyun lagta hain?
she ran after him,bt failed to realise that she was running on the middle of the road... wen she did,it was too late...... she turned back and to her utmost horror,noticed a big truck coming her way...... she became almost paralyzed in fear and cudnt move... suddenly a strong hand grabbed her at her waist and pulled her out of the way... she cudnt keep her balance and fell down on the road..... no...not on the road,she fell down on top of someone... she opened her eyes slowly and saw that it was imran... he had saved her life.....
just one or two seconds.... then he pushed her away roughly and got up..... and started dusting his clothes.....
pratigya got up by herself..... she felt really angry at his behavior.....
she made him turn around and face her by his shoulders----tum aisa kyun karte ho?
imraan---kya kiya humne? kyun? tumhari jaan nhi bachani chahiye thi?
pratigya---nhi...woh nhi...uske liye shukriya..... lekin...jab humne tumhe awaz diya....tum istarh kyun chale gaye? jaise ki tum hume jante tak nhi?
imran----tum pagal ho...isiliye..
pratigya's mouth gaped open at his audacity----kya?
imran---haan... tumhe hamara shukriyada karni chahiye...lekin tum ho ki....
pratigya----thk hain shukriya... par...
he turned away and started walking..
pratigya---hey...ruko...!!! she started chasing him....almost.....
imran,while walking------tum hamara picha kyun kar rahi ho?
pratigya-----hum tumhara koi picha wicha nhi kar rahe hain...bas tumhe raaste mein dekha aur..isiliye...
imran stopped to face her----aur isiliye kya? pratigya... tum hume do din pehle janti tak nhi thi.... aur aab... ye sab jo tum kar rahi ho ya soch rahi ho...ye thk nhi hain....
pratigya started stammering-----kya...kya matlab hain tumhara....
imran----dekho hum andhe nhi hain...na aankhon se aur nahi akal se.... sab samajhte hain... isiliye keh rahe hain...bewaqufi chod do...aur hume pareshan mat karo......
his rude wrds brot tears to her eyes... she was nt used to harsh,unkind words..... she lowered down her eyes and did nt say anythng... imran stood there for some moments..then sighed and walked away......
pratigya murmered to herself----thk hain....nhi pareshan karenge... aab tum bhi humse baat karna chaho to HUM BAAT NHI KARENGE.....bas....!!!!!!
