You spooked yourself about the upcoming Baba/Prats split up and then calmed down all in the same post. If they don't split up then how will the story move forward? Waise bhi, it's only when they split does the truth come out and both of them see the REALITY of their lives. It's not only Prats who gets to make pratigyas. Krishna gets his turn too.
When Krishna met Prats his pratigya was "waise bhi Amma, humko jo kuch karna hai, hum Pratigyaji ko hamare patni banake rahoonga. Hum sab ko chod sakthe hai, lekin Pratigyaji ko nahi chod sakthe". Well he did all he knew from his repertoire but he has made little progress in winning her over emotionally.
Knowingly or unknowingly, with this fake pregnancy Krishna created a situation that forces him and Prats to take a look at their marriage in a new way. Like it or not they are a team and have to deal with it together. Krishna has so far been true to his word, "agar woh teek hai, to hum uskia saath dethe rahoonga". He had no money yet he took his wife and left the family that has until now usko "Siir pe rakkha hai" . Not having money to feed his wife and things like that will finally get to him. BTW, how long are the two going to wear the same clothes?😕
Every little effort he makes to do the right thing for Prats will force her to see "who dhil ki achcha hai". They have to have enough moments between them for her flashbacks when she misses him and starts to put the little pieces together. All these months her anger has blinded her to his good nature. Now with no where to go and nothing to do she is forced to focus on him, just what Baba always wanted. Too bad it has to be at the Adda, but then it's his own haven of sorts.
Even if Angad's lies about Prats gets to him first, he will remember at some point that his wife is not that kind of girl. She is a sherni and that will spur him into action with a little help from Kesar or his sasural. Komal may still be at her maike to help her brother and maybe her sasural in bringing her bhai and bhabhi together thereby winning her sasural's respect. This will also bring Komal and Adarsh closer.
So far this "love story" has been without the saccharin sweet gooey moments. Let's hope they keep it that way and show a real but slow understanding between Baba and Prats. When the tornado passes, it will be interesting to see how they pick up the pieces of their past and move forward. It will be a new beginning and that will keep viewers tuned in. It's better if the Creators don't go the predictable route in bringing them together. Makes for more interesting drama.
