Yeah, I agree!!! I am sure the CVs could have done a much better job on the Pratigya character...I mean, if they can make such an awesome character as Krishna, they could have somehow made Pratigya stronger right from her intro-scene and just like they promoted it in the first promo!!! 😍
BUT, I dont really think of her as a weak girl, not yet nyways!!! Yes, she appears to be scared and shocked a lot and I find that acceptable coz, I think she needs more time ->yaar! it has only been a few days since she shifted into a whole new atmosphere 😲; to get over her shock and fear -> that she is receiving as a regular dose 😆 - to actually become stronger...I mean, dont u think she was also shocked and scared to hear that her given name will be changed but she overcame that shock and fear and stood up for herself - I thought that was quite brave of her, esp. in that men-ruling and women-beating family!!! I really think the CVs should make her cry less, bcoz, more than ny other reasons, her crying makes her look very weak!!! 😒😒😒

But, when she agreed for this marriage, she should have prepared herself, I mean the kidnapping and all that did not give her any ideas about those people😕
About the name changing thing, yes she was brave enough to speak up, but I highly doubt that she would have had her way had krishna not stood up for her, and in that case, she would have accepted the new name...so what's the point of speaking up, and give up at the end??
I don't know if it's the way the actress is portraying it or the CVs, but it comes across as a weak character.
