Pratigya's reasons...

At the risk of repeating the entire story I am writing this to remind myself of why Pratigya is acting the way she is towards Krishna. Actually, the creative team have done such a wonderful job of bringing out the different shades of Krishna's character that we the viewers could not help but fall in love with him. Hats off to Arhaan for bringing Krishna to life and making him who he is. We have seen Krishna as the gunda, we have seen him as a mean guy slapping a little boy around, we have seen him as a lovesick puppy, we have seen him as someone who will go to any bounds and stoop to any level to get what he wants, we have seen him humiliate Pratigya and her family and on the flip side defend them in front of his own and we have seen how stubborn he can be, we have seen him get angry and we have seen him defend his love Pratigya.

While we fell in love with Krishna and I personally want to see Kriya work out...all that Pratigya and her family have gone through were put on the backburner. I mean she was a happy go lucky girl who came home after her studies and was so terrorized by the local gunda guys that she was afraid to leave her own house. She was stalked, her fiancee was badly beaten up (I know this was Angad...), she was humiliated in front of family at her own engagement, the same day her engagement was called off Krishna came over to her house with band baaja, her brother was arrested and her father was humiliated time and again, even when the thakurs came to her house with the rishta Shakti held a gun to his head, Krishna stopped a bus at gun point, pulled them out and literally put them under house arrest despite which she was kidnapped!!! Pratigya had to prove her innocence time and time again to her own family!!

I guess the creative team still need to bring out the different shades of Pratigya's character. So far we have only seen her as this scared, humiliated, terrorized girl. I would love to see her start confiding in Kesar (if that happens Kesar will start telling Pratigya of the way Krishna fought with his family to marry her) and even though daadi does not talk I can tell she likes Pratigya. Will be nice to see her start interacting with daadi. She should definitely tell that maid off more often. I think SS likes her too....will be nice see more interaction between them (positive interaction). Krishna wanted a sherni...well she might hate Krishna for the obvious reasons...but the next time someone holds a gun to Krishna's head....will be wonderful to see Pratigya step forward and defend her husband...!!!

Pratigya has gone totally mad as well as blind. She will defend Krishna ? No way!! Uska bas chale toh woh usse zeher pila ke vidhwa ban jaye!! KAMINI!!
