First episode of powder begins with a drug delivery done by rajesh and wasim,younger brother of Naved Ansari.They are captured by the mumbai police(ANC).

On the other hand a meeting against Brinda's attitude is held in the office of NCB(Narcotics Control Bureau). Everyone has a problem with brinda's working style.The AA charge is taken from Brinda and further inquiry is ordered against her.The NCB is headed by Usman Ali.

The same day Mahendra and Karthik, officers of NCB capture some drugs from a beach.The rest of the drugs are recovered after the interrogation of a woman involved in drug dealings. Mahendra asks Brinda to conduct the interrogation because of the order from supreme court that for female criminals female officers should conduct the interrogation.During the course of the interrogation Mahendra gets agitated with brinda's style and tells her that crime and police are not the fields of women and they should stay out of it.

Now, the NCB plan to arrest Ansari, who is the head of drug business in india.

Legally he has nothing but the whole drug business is handled by him.He and his family are not directly involved in the business.Naved had started a garment business and has went on to become the king of drug dealing's in india.

No one knows the exact location of his centres.He is never involved in a crime also, hence it is very difficult for NCB to arrest Ansari.

Wasim is the new twist in the story of Ansari.Rajesh has already been killed in custody.

Now NCB takes the charge of Wasim from police,they have very lil time as they have information that Ansari is trying to shift to Karachi.The episode ends with Usman showing an old pic of his and Ansari.
