This leaves open the possibility that even if she bites him, the poison might act far more slowly than the norm, giving some time for Jalal's rescue team, very likely headed by Jodha. I think we will have that climax only on Friday.

This apart, Jodha's confronting the KT and showing her hand prematurely was both very ill-advised and counter-productive. But she is always "like that only" - remember the time when she unwisely reveals to Sharifuddin that she had masqueraded as a daasi at Amer and learnt of his skulduggery in the Ratanpur fort affair; She never learns.

I am pleased that you agree with the rationale for not mixing the two ways, Bobby. I agree that many here do that, but it is then not proper analysis. Anyway, a lot written in any of the 4 forums that I have seen is fangiri, not analysis. This one is better than the other three, and there is much more of thoughtful comments here, and no open attacks on fans of one or the other character either!

But after that I spoke only in terms of her character as depicted by CVs. But almost everybody mixes this two ways as far as I have seen. Even when there are some things not done properly by Jalal, I have scene that CVs are used for defending his actions. I will make sure that I will not use CVs to defend Jodha or Jalal now onwards 😊

I think his asking Abul Mali about the jasoos was rhetorical. He could hardly have expected to get an honest reply!

I hope he knows about Benazir: I want him to get out of that trap on his own. Jodha can come running in and try to take the bite, perhaps, and thus prove her bonafides as a devoted patni, but he should be smart enough to take care of himself. Let us see.

My bet is that it will end up like a mythological film, with Jodha deafening the helpless Kanha here, and Jalal waking up to the kind of danger he faces from the KT there, of course at the very last moment!

We are all forgetting one thing here. Even if Jalal believes that Benazir is out to get him, he will not realise till the very last HOW she plans to do that.

Why, even after watching Benazir writhe all over the screen today like an item dancer, and after having listened to Mirza's account of how a zahreeli dosiza gets restless and irritable when deprived of her daily fix of snake venom, Jodha has not yet connected the dots. How can Jalal, who has not had the benefit to Mirza's esoteric knowhow, and has not seen his KT today, even guess that she is a vishkanya?

So, even if he is expecting her to attack him when she gets to be up close and personal with him, he will be looking out for a stab with a khanjar, not a deadly snakebite. Now he is a strong man, and he will never think that in any such eventuality, he will not be able to overpower her physically. So the actual move will catch him unprepared, and he will have to react very quickly.

Question: Why would Benazir want to go ahead with her murderous plans now, when Abul Mali will not be let out of prison by the successor to Jalal, who would hardly want another contender for power, but would very likely be executed pronto, thus nixing her imperial ambitions (which are crazy in any case) ?

Both Jodha and Mirza are like tubelights with a defective choke. One takes till today to decipher the code and the other has still not done it!

And Mirza Hakim is talking as if he had been at Jalal's right hand all these years, noting his expressions before every jung ka eilaan, instead of having been doing badtameezi in Kabul, as per Jalal himself (in episode 49). Someone should send the CVs the YouTube coordinates for that episode!

I liked Mahaam's calm explanation of Jalal's decision to Adham, who will of course be reassured and more convinced than ever of his mother's siyasati skills when he gets to lead the Malwa campaign.She has brains, you have to hand it to her, and is also generally a very good judge of character. Today that included the kaabil Mansingh, though I am sure she detests him on principle.

Your compendium of Jodha's khasiyatein is really very funny. You know, Sandhya, by now I am heartily tired of criticising her. I want her to move at least a little way towards becoming my Diana-cum-Juno, so that I can something nice about her in every episode. But I doubt if that is going to happen any time soon.

What if he had deciphered the letter when Haakim read out his contents and forwarded it to bring Abul Mali into Agra to catch him. But today he looked quite odd when he asked AM the name of the Jasoos after claiming to have eyes all around him.

As I mentioned in Lashy's thread How unused and fresh her brains are! Her heart too! No wonder Jalal was so sure of her Paakeezgi.

These are feats that our Jodha and only our Jodha can achieve

-take out gunpowder from gun during hunting

-call a scared Rahim to witness for dibbi

-call BB to witness against her husband

-explain with diagrams and examples to Shariffu on the fort issue

-explain with notes and subnotes to Ben today and her action plan!

Shyamala, we are definitely not going to get the opportunity to say good things of Jodha anytime soon. One reason being TE plays all his cards close to his chest and he definitely knws his Chudail is no poker player and hence will never get her on his plans to unmask spies and killers!!! And Chudail being Chudail will go by the superficiality of TE's behavior and always condemn him since she is not ready to accept as yet that she is totally and completely wrong about him in every possible way. But when she does get her prejudices off I want to see her presentation by the creatives.

If Jalal has indeed been closely following the 19 baandhies as he claims to be, he must be aware of Ben's stint with Maqsood Khan. Surely Zaakira could not have disposed of all those dead snakes (a trunk full of them) without arousing suspicion. Daak Munshi's death was also suspicious. But if Jalal suspected KT to be a VK, then he wouldn't have allowed her near on the night when Ruqaiya interfered. Maybe he thought she was using snakes to kill and not that she was a snake herself. Confusing. We'll have to wait to see how things unfold.

Mirza Haakim's speech on Mohabbat was incredible. At this rate, he will soon overtake HB by miles! He couldn't decipher his runaway Amar Premika's eyes but has made psycho-analysis of his brother's drishti inspite of admitting that he has never seen him in years! Baap re! His memory power and analysis power is terrific. Must have seen Jalal when he was probably 10/12 years old and he has such a understanding as to what each look and each word meant then and how it differs now!

Whatever be the negative influence BK and MA had on Jalal we cannot deny that Jalal became the Emperor of Hindustan only because of the upbringing and teachings and training of these two people. If he had been brought by HB, he would have landed up like another Suryabhaan or Rat-king's-son, able to impress Jodha and achieve nothing else.

Am eagerly waiting for today's episode. Jodha will probably say that she'll keep her vrat for the vachan to her Maasa. It usually is for Ammijaan but today it may be for Maasa. Never mind the answer. I'm rejoicing that the question was asked. (Just as I was pleased with Ruqaiya's questions)
