You know I was just saying yesterday that while I love the show, it is now time for them to move on to the next chapter...and they did just that today! It was a wonderful episode.

This is the best interpretation of that last scene, it was so well written and well acted by both of them, which brings me to the next part of your post.

I've already expressed how top-notch Sanaya'as acting was. It's nice to see such a well-written character for her because when given the quality material, she will ALWAYS shine and deliver...if she could make the most nonsensical scenes work, this would be a no-brainer. And I absolutely love Ashish. I can see why Sanaya was gushing with praises for him...they make each other better.

Thanks, Pri!!!

We haven't even seen Sanaya and Ashish together much yet ... they've just had a couple of scenes together and the intensity is already so high. When they really get going, I think our screens will burn up. Always knew how good an actress Sanaya is, of course ... Ashish is a revelation ... expected him to be good, but never THIS good ... he is great!

I'm SO glad that this time the story is evenly balanced between the two main leads ... and it's easy to see why Saurabh wanted Sanaya and only her for this role. It's tailor made for her ... hope the depth and quality of the story telling remains at the same level for some time at least.

Dia di To quote the words of Monica di
"You said it right.. 'a storm is impartial in its destruction, no one is spared. ' But to me the loss of Paro is incomparable to anyone else's ..

Seeing the comrades dying is not unique for soldiers.. So is true for Rudra.. Among all the victims of the said casualty.. Paro is the only one, to whom death might have been preferable than remaining alive to face further rages of life.."

So for me too Paro's anguish is greater, cz if given the option she would rather die than live cz she doesn't have ANYTHING to live for anymore. While as angry, destructive and sad at the loss of his comrades in arms, Rudra hasn't lost anything he hasn't anyway seen as a part of life, a part of life her SIGNED up for willingly. If its to be remembered, even the 1st intro of Rudra was the dead soldiers and him going to punish the culprits. Its a part and parcel of his life, he avenges them and moves on..
While SHE, never signed up for ANY of the destruction the Thakur, the barat or Rudra wrecked in her life. And now that the combined powers of the 3 has effectively stripped her of every reason to live, her fate is chilling.
She wants to die, BUT HE needs her to be alive to avenge the Thakur for the completion of sort of debt of honor he pays to his death comrades. Thus he will not even let her die in peace and find solace..

But that having said Rudra's scene with that lady i was actually angry not sad. It was not something that should have been said to him! He didn't take his friend for a teenage joyride and ended up getting in to an accident and the friend dying and him surviving! This was a line of duty for both of them!
I mean I can understand a mother is grieving, but I dunno it felt an out of place scene just to trigger Rudra's past painful shadows SO he would become extra hard on Paro..cz he was till then softening towards her, but this they used to make him take out his personal anger on her!

Awesome write up.Enjoying the show and the discussions here.I only wish they would portray the armed forces more realistically. No officer worth his uniform has the long hair and stubble that Ashish has nor does any of them carry alcohol with them to treat their wounds.Apart from this RR is perfect.

Hehe ... I agree with you about both your points ... the mooch is ok, as it is the pride of Rajputs, but the stubble needs to go. And using alcohol to treat a wound gained in a private fight was ok, but in the course of duty, not okay ... though someone pointed out that he used Dettol. Either way, an army officer has to get his wounds treated properly by an official medic, when sustained in the course of duty.

Sunara, I agree with you ... Paro's loss is definitely the greater, and tonight when she is disowned by Maamisa, it will be rock bottom ... she will have literally NO ONE and NOWHERE to go in the world ... she will be completely alone. And that's when her transformation will start ... when you are at rock bottom, there is only one way to go, and that is up ... after some time spent trying to come to terms with the situation, that is ...

Rudra ... I felt bad for him, very bad ... when I sit back and compare the two, he is better off in material terms for sure ... he has a father, a home, a chacha chachi and cousins, from the reports ... AND he has his BSD family ... which for a soldier is as important as his own family. Which is why he was so shattered at the loss of his men, because he was responsible for them ... plus the loss of his mother.

If you look at them emotionally, Paro is the richer ... she will suddenly become the poorer when she is disowned by her village ... but she is stronger than Rudra, because she has been surrounded by love throughout her life ... the sudden loss of that will break her at first, but she will emerge stronger ... It is she who will have to heal Rudra ... because he is far weaker emotionally.

But before that, we will weep buckets for Paro ... starting tonight. 😭

Nice analysis as always. Sanaya and Ashish were brilliant yesterday. They nailed the glass wall scene. I was kind of down since morning looking at the low trps. As now the real story has begun and the violence done with i wish the trps rise as i really love RR and Sanish.

Sorrieee, Monica ... was out the whole day, and saw your post late! Loved it ...

For me too, Paro's loss is incomparable to anyone else's ... she has lost EVERYTHING ... and today she will lose her home too ... no roof over her head, no family or loved ones at all in the entire world ... she is so completely alone, it's terrifying!!! Her world was limited to her village ... now that entire village has disowned her ... she has literally nowhere to go, and no one to call her own.

Yes, Rudra is upset about his men ... upset and guilty ... but he has a father, he has a family, he has the BSD, which is like another family ... he has his own personal demons to fight ... but he is not alone. Right now, his troubles are looking very shallow compared to Paro's.
