Evelyn proud of curves

Evelyn Sharma, though relatively new to Bollywood, has featured in some big projects like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Nautanki Saala, Issaq and more. Considering she is half-German and does not have a godfather in the industry, that is quite a feat.
Being a foreign actress in Bollywood, the comparisons to Katrina Kaif are inevitable; the actress doesn't seem too pleased though. She says, "I don't like to be compared to anyone. I am Evelyn Lakshmi Sharma and there is none like me. However, I admire Katrina a lot for her hard work."
The actress talks about her latest film, Yaariyan. "In Yaariyan I play the role of Jennette. The hero's absolute dream girl. Yaariyan is a movie all about your firsts. First love, first kiss, first drama, etc. It was a fun and at times stressful experience," says Evelyn.
Speaking about her contemporaries she admires, Evelyn reveals, "I admire Kangna. She's a fighter and a headstrong girl. She came with nothing and got fame with hard work and dedication." The actress has created quite a stir with her bikini shots for the Sunny Sunny song in the same film. She says, "I love to wear a bikini on the beach or at the pool. But I think there are better ways to do styling for a music video than only a bikini. Shorts or a sarong, or maybe a cropped T-shirt look way cuter and are much more comfortable to dance in."
Though she sported a bikini in the film, the actress adds that she didn't lose weight and chose to flaunt her curvaceous figure instead. "I am a curvy girl by nature and will never be stick-skinny. If you don't have hips, how will you wear a sari?"
The actress goes on to reveal that her romantic nature influences her dressing sense. She says, "Since I am a romantic, I love my pastel colours and floral prints. What I find really hot is a floral silk dress paired with boots and leather jacket. I barely wear pants. I like to be comfortable."
