Vriksh hon bhale khade,
Hon ghane, hoh bade,
Ek patra chhah bhi
Maang mat! Maang mat! Maang mat!
Agneepath! Agneepath! Agneepath!
Tu na thakega kabhi,
Tu na thamega kabhi,
Tu na mudega kabhi,
Kar shapath! Kar shapath! Kar shapath!
Agneepath! Agneepath! Agneepath!
Yeh mahaan drishya hai,
Chal raha manushya hai
Ashru, swed, rakt se
Lath-path, lath-path, lath-path,
Agneepath! Agneepath! Agneepath!
When the tricolor soars high, it fills in such pride and joy that remains unmatched even when compared to your most precious moments. Today was one such moment that we all were made to live. You live and re-live as an individual but that one precise moment of pride that your country and country men provide enlivens you collectively. I bow down to you writers, directors, technicians and every single entity that had been associated with the making of such a powerful, magnanimous and beautiful episode!
Rudra had been admonished, beaten, broken, battered but his country made him stand up! Made him back a cause, made him the part of such a pride!! I loved the conceptualization and presentation of it all! To write something on a paper is relatively easy for the twists and turns remain hidden and you can play with them as much as you want...enacting it is difficult!
The moment that leech in the name of kaka asked for the tricolor to be brought down, I can swear I had lump in my throat, but Rudra stood up and boy I loved it!!! The way a mighty lion roars and challenges its weakling in the name of prey...and defeats, no, destroys it; similarly Rudra fought a fight to its finish. It was do or die and all or nothing for him! And what uber cool shots!! The way the camera played with exquisite shots of the tricolor like an eagle soaring was marvelous!! I guess I will have to take a dive into the dictionary to pull out words of applause for the team! Rangrasiya rocks! The action sequences were fantastic and so very nicely shot! Aashish was fantastic. Armed forces when they are on battle its only win or win for them and to let the same feeling radiate all over is no easy task especially if you are enacting and not partaking! But Aashish...how should I sing yur praises? My father s officially the biggest possible fan of Aashish. Ive never seen him praise an actor who is not Tom Cruise so much. Such was Aashish's portrayal! Incroyable!!
Vishal too was fantastic. To play a wolf in sheep skin is not easy and he did it so marvelously! I really want to see more of him but that ain't possible anymore. But I'll surely miss his subtle yet impactful role as Varun!!
The one thing I have to make mention of is the fact that the truth about Varun and the entire baraat remains with Rudra and Varun who took it to his grave! Paro knows nothing and what she knows is only the glimpse. For her, her husband is killed and Major Ranawat is responsible for the same. Now that's a clever writing! Had Paro regained consciousness before or after the killing the entire story would have taken a backseat, but no...we have a very strong team and its still going strong!! To hide and to reveal is perhaps the most difficult aspect of a story line and to do that day after day is an uphill task! Team RR take a bow!!
I loved the lingering emotions that were give loose ends. Like the shot were Rudra is being dragged and Paro lies unconscious. Well when Adi-Shakti is hurt or is in peril, Shiva loses his will to go on, but the moment she has to be brought back its only Shiva who jumps to the occasion and balances the forces around! Also Rudra hitting Varun point bank was spot on! Like a true blue office, Rudra was a man on mission and delivered without fail. But what amazed me was an invariable hurt that Rudra had on his face listening to Paro's heart wrenching scream. Such subtle hints on their relation is beautiful and invokes your senses!
Okay so I usually not that type of a girl but regarding Varun I can't help but go I TOLD YA!!!
Enough said!!! Beautiful episode!!
