Hello Friends,

First of all sorry for the delay in bringing this episode of Idol of the Week, due to our schedules. 😊

Once again we are back with another episode of the Idol of the week.

This week with us we have the talented singer, the only female singer who made it to top 5 finalists of II 2

She bagged most number of votes in the Piano round by singing Rangeel Re, which turned out as one of the best performances in a piano round taking a lot of fans by her side.

You guessed it right, the Idol on the hot seat is none other than the truely deserving Antara Mitra.

Questions for this week are.

1. How was Antara different from all other idols? What was that 1 thing she had which no other Idol had?
2. When did you want to start supporting Antara?

Truely deserving Antara Mitra.

Questions for this week are.

1. How was Antara different from all other idols? What was that 1 thing she had which no other Idol had? Ofcourse her sweet unique Voice , her stage presence & her confidence all creates lods of charisma & fire on stage compared to others..Above all she is innocent & simple yet more matured & never be diplomatic unlike others👏👏👏

2. When did you want to start supporting Antara?
After Hearing Audition song Dama Dum Mast kalandar itself I was impressed with her..Parineeta song in theatre round confirmed my choice & after that I dont need to look back😃😛😳

3. What were your reactions to the judges feedback? Do you think she got the overall comments she deserved/she was under-rated/she was over-rated?
Except her last gala comment from Farha(lataji's song were compared to nursery rhyme) I think she got all comments she deserved only👏👏👏...when she wasnt good Sonu pointed out that everytime & when she was good he praised him too👏👏👏Same for Farha too...When Anumalik dissppointed for the first time she gone out😭😭😭

4. Which feedback from the judges were you most satisfied with?
Anu Malik said, "I think I have found my Playback Singer'... tumhari singing ne jadoo bataya, kissi ko banaya aur kissi ko mitaya.

Abhijeet - Itna aacha performance hai ki mumbai walle bhi itna aacha nahi kar sakte. Itna aacha gaya..

Farah - outstanding performer...looked like an International Rock Star on stage...seemed proud after listening her that she was one of the jury, which discovered such a talented singer like u from a small town in India...i should agree with annuji as next indian idol will be a girl nd also complimented her looks, saying she could not only be the next Indian Idol, but also Miss India!

Sonu - u can sing any kind of song beautifully as goos as u sing classical. so the only word i can use for u is "Superb"...'Where was this side of you all these weeks?' .Fantastic singing, superb singing...suprized to seeing such a talented singer frm a small town nd told dat im soo proud of u.coz ur very very very good...'Your specialty is that you can sing all types of songs, but today I fell that you could have done better, even though you have put up a good show,'

Priyanka was also impressed by the young voice and felt she had a great future in playback singing. She will create magic with her voice!!!!👏👏👏

Preity also felt proud to be associated with a show where such a marvelous talent flourishes. kyunki aapne bohot bohot bohotttt achcha gaaya.She also said dat she wish some day Antara to give a playback for her. 👏👏👏

Karan Johar said Antara's performance was a perfect gift to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as it was his birthday!👏👏👏 I really felt soo good, aapka antara bhi n aapka mukhra bhi utna hi sundar hai.😛😛😛

5. Who did you feel was Antara's toughest competitor? Who would you liked to have see in Top2 with Antara? Amey or Karunya & I think this both were strong competetor & it would have been better if they were with Antara in TOP 3😃

3.Tere Bina Jiya Jayena

7. Which song reminds you of her?
All songs of hers for no doubt...till now the only song I havent seen in TV is Tere Bina Jiya Jayena & Tu rutta tho...all other songs when I hear it It reminds me of Antara & I feel proud I am Antara fan 😃

8. If you had the chance to spend 15 mins with Antara, how would you spend it?
I am sure Antara will run away from me within 1 minute for sure seeing my craziness & pagalpan for her😆

9. Which song would you dedicate to Antara? Why this song?

10. Any TakkaTak moment you love about Antara? Describe it.
I am so sad that when takatak aired I shouldnt see it becoz I dont have SAB channel that time & when I got that channel Antara was out too😭..My Dialup connection didnt allow me to see online too..nw I started seeing it & the Amey Sandy Karu trying to date antara was so funny😆😆..its was so nice to see the opinion abt security guards & roomboys regarding antara👏👏..The one interesting & surprising thing we got to know was from the handwriting expert episode which said antara got leadership qualities which she hide in herself & she is the matured person from all others👏👏..Also their composed song(antara karu sandy & anuj) won as the takatak album Aasman ke tale👏👏...Its so nice to see her getting Best GF from II-2 award too from guys😃👏👏

11. Antara was worried about the X-factor during the theatre rounds; she felt she had the voice and singing ability but did not have the 'appearance'. Do you think the make-over helped her in the Galas to become a better performer, or was her performances appreciated more before the make-over?
It may have increased her confidence slightly but seeing her performance in Piano round before knowing how public will accept or judge her too she was too good...👏👏👏Makeover helped her more stage presence & she was confident to carry herself in any dress too...she was good performer from beginning👏👏👏

12. Why do you think Antara could not make it to Top4?
I think its only becoz of that bitter truth she said against public when she & Meenal were in bottom 3 like public should vote using brain though she meant only public should vote for deserving one...I think this made angry many & many Meenal fans were so upset of her comment regarding Meenal like she is in bottom 3 always..Though she was trying to prove like Public putting good people in bottom 3 always..that way she lost Meenal fans votes too...😕She was the top scorer in many of galas with Anuj actually while amey karu sandy & all come to bottom 3 in random order...

13. When you found out Antara was eliminated, what were your first reactions?
Actually When Judges criticised especially Farha ji telling abt nursery rhyme & all then itself I was kinda sure its Antara's turn now😭...Also her comments though true against public in last week also affected her badly too..Even Sony didnt show Sonuji's comments like though she didnt sing that well this time pls vote for her as she is the only gal left & it was true she did better than sandy & anuj that time too...But though I was so sad while she exit her matured speech made me more proud to be her fan😃😃😃There were even rumours that she questions sony & voting system when Meenal was out & even she want to leave herself too that time...Seeing Sony didnt shooted her takatak exit video & didnt show antara's chal hatt song in khudiya bemisal show too I kinda beleive she had some issues with SONY😕& they kinda take revenge by not showing her in last moment😡

14. Do you wish Antara had gone to SRGMP or FG instead of II? Yes or No, give reasons.
No I dont think so...This was the right platform for her with no doubts as she is a very good performer cum singer!!!👏👏👏

15. Were there any performances of hers you would have altered? Or anything you would about Antara?
I always thought Mere hathon Mein was a bad choice of hers before she sings that in gala becoz I thought she will sing Sabkki Baratein aayi 😭...still I were enjoying her performance so delightfully but judges comments made me like is she singing that bad?😕 atleast compared to others...😡while dancing i found her it got shaked 4-5 times ...The intro song sapne mein milte hai & Aaja mahi too she did a very good job eventhough she was the only gal in that grp😃

16. Would you change her style (clothes, singing, etc)?
No Need at all😃; She is just perfect the way she is👏👏👏...Her Makeover bring more confidence in her & she is surely a stylist Diva now😃😃😃But Before makeover too she proved as good performer & got maximum votes too😃

17. Any of her songs that deserved 100% good comments, and she didnt get them ? Which performance would that be ?
She got a Fair comments by Judges..When She did good its appreciated when it was bad its criticized ; though the only comment I upset is Farha comparing a Lataji's song as Nursery Rhyme !!😡😕

18. Describe Antara in not more than 5 words!!
Simple, Confident, Versatile & Stylish RockStar😃😃

Yah sandy was supposed to be, but i cudnt post it due to work.
Megha also was busy.

And since Antara FC is celebrating Silver Jubilee we made her this week, so they can have double masti.😊

I like her as a singer from auditions
& wanted her to reach in Finals but i think after make over there was some thing missing in her...
but tsill she was better much better than some of other finalist

Only Sonu in all her performances gave her Comments which she deserved
When he said she is Good .. She was
When he said u need to improve ur this & tht ... he was always Right.

I was always satisfied with SOnu's judgement

I wanted Meenal to win so obviously I wanted her to join Antara in Top 2.
KAru,Amey & MEenal were her toughest competitor
Also Monali was good but she was eliminated too early

After make over there was always something missing in her singing...
