Its surprising to see that Sonam's powerful performance in Ranjhaana getting ignored in award ceremonies while Shradda winning nominations for best actress category...Aashiqui 2 belonged to ARK and the soulful music...Shradda complimented him well but her performance was average imo...Sonam's Zoya was a layered character and her improvement was visible

infact their performances are not comparable

Shraddha is good-looking but she has to become a better actress

she wasn't great in A2

sonam proved she can act👍🏼

now i can say she is one of my favourite actress rather than celebrity

Agree...Sonam always showed sparks of brilliance from time to time...Delhi6,Mausam,Aisha etc etc...But this one was a well rounded performance 👏...hope she continues the winning streak with upcoming movies !

It has to be Sonam..She was too good in Ranjhana..its just that she had probably the best performer of the year casted opposite her..that she got overshadowed..

actually i think that she managed to get noticed between two awesome actors:dhanush and abhay👏

its a big thing

she deserves a nomination for her role

Ofcourse she got noticed..no one can deny that..that is the reason we are talking about her here..Its just that Ranjhana as a movie will be remembered for Dhanush..not Sonam..that is why i said "overshadowed"..😊

But Sonam made us connect to Zoya and understand her mindset and emotions!

I liked Aashiqui for the plot, songs and chemistry of BOTH actors... Shraddha and Aditya individually come after that. 😛

Sonam's character in Raanjhanaa changed my opinion about her completely... she was amazing! She made me understand her, hate her - I experienced so many emotions toward her that I never thought she'd make me experience judging from some of the films she's done in the past. So my vote is with Sonam 😊

I think Sonam's performance should be compared to only Sonakshis. These two roles were the most difficult this year and I guess both of them has performed them with easy. And it was not expected from them but they had done it. I think Shraddha in A2 was good but why compare with Sonam. She was fantabulous.
