Where this all is heading to?

I thought Ekta would not mess up this time but hell she prove me wrong Again. Her serials are worthless and good for homeworking aunties.

its just a way of saying 'You've definitely got that thing right!' doesn't mean other things you've mentioned are wrong...

However, having said that - many of the incidents happening in the serial do seem to have been taken out of leaves from historical chronicles...like -

Its been documented that a spy called Benazir did infiltrate the AKbar palace...

Akbar has shown growth from Jalal to Akbar after Hira Kunwari played a heavy influence in his life...

Unexplained miscarriages did happen in the harem...and Abhay (history_geek) told me there was a brief mention in an article/chronicle that somehow pointed fingers of Maham...

so, many of the incidents shown are influenced from what has been documented in various books...

Having said that none of the documents showed that Jalal gave up his rulings of the empire to be smitten by a spy or that he was ready to divorce his first Begum for the sake of a silly law that didn't even need so much drama in the first place...

In fact, nowhere has it been mentioned that Jalal was not brainy/astute...they do show that his initial years were crueller and that he settled down later on...

Also, the makers are not following Mughal court protocols, palace ethics or anything of the sort...it was shown better off in the beginning of the serial..but, nowadays the scenes don't..

I would be happy if there was a character graph maintained properly with the leads and thats all I ask for!

then I'm ok to sit through Hakim Shivani and many other such triangles.. 😆

Also, I know the makers are taking leaves from the past and twisting it for the sake of TRPs...and I know Akbar did marry after Hira Kunwari...but, I genuinely don't want to watch it in this show...

The modern audience will not be able to take it.. then, they should only have advertised as a documentary on Akbar's life and not 'epic romance' saga... 😊

EXACTLY...u said it all...if they wanted to show akbar's life...why to evn name a show jodha akbar then...as the show has got evry othr potential to show evry orthr drama...excpet their SO CALLED...EPIC ROMANCE...😆😆

I think we need to think of this show from the marketing point of view. If I were a top marketing manager of Zee what would I see as the unique selling point of this show.
The answer would be that this is the only show among the top rated 5 shows on T.V that has a substantial base among the young romance loving segment of viewers . This is in addition to the traditional base of older drama loving audience that most top rated serials have.
This is the USP that the marketers of Zee will leverage to get Ads, this is the unique advantage they will brag about that other serials like Diya Baati don't have.
So, I don't think they will want to upset the applecart. Zee wallahs are trying very hard to secure the No 1 position for the show so they are pushing hard at the boundaries of what romance lovers are willing to accept but I don't think they will cross it.
I believe we need to be patient.
