King Sudhodhana descendent of Rama ???

Hi friends,

Since king sudodhana is also suryavanshi...does that mean he is descendent of lord rama ???

I went through internet and I found that Shakya is different suryavanshi dynasty...so may he is NOT...

if anyone knows more about it..kindly share..would love to know.

As much as I know Ram was from Ikshvaku dynasty which was basically a Suryavansh only..the descendants from sun God...Raja Harischandra, dilip, Raghu( on his name Ram , Dashrath were called Raghuvanshi too) Ram were from this lineage..as per purans..but in Buddhist text it is mentioned that king Shudhodha was also the descendent of Suryavansh but they originated from some other king... I am not sure if he was the direct descendant or not. 😕

Buddha is consider as one of 10 avatar of lord Bishnu like those of Ram and Krishna... I exactly don't know is Ram and Rama are same or not but if they are same then i think buddha is decended from Rama..
