Kkusum, Abhay on the streets!
There is a proverbial twist in the tale of the Sony drama Kkusum. And for those who are still clued in to this Balaji marathon run (it will celebrate 1,000 episodes later in the year), here is the dope.
Abhay (Anuj Saxena) and Kkusum (Shilpa Saklani)
The protagonists, the Kapoor family, throw a party to celebrate Mahi's (Poonam Narula Goyal) exit — she has been jailed.
They feel they are free of Mahi and her vitriolic acts. At the bash, ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas performs while the senior Kapoors belt out the track — O meri zohra jabeen from Waqt.
But to throw a spanner in the works, Mahi and Kali (Rucha Gujarathi) enter the party. Everyone is shocked to see her. Then they realize that Kkusum had signed on blank papers and Mahi and Kali have duped the Kapoors by transferring all the property in their name.
Abhay (Anuj Saxena; he's still in a dazed state in a wheelchair) and Kkusum (Shilpa Saklani) find themselves on the road as Mahi gives them three hours to vacate the house.
