Ranveer Singh replaces Ranbir Kapoor in MONKEY

Here's another interesting tale. A few months ago, Umesh Shukla had narrated an idea to Ranbir Kapoor. The film had a very interesting title - Monkey. We're told that Kapoor was very impressed with the concept and was inclined to do the film but Shukla and Kapoor had put nothing down on paper.

Now since the actor is busy with other commitments, Shukla would have to wait more than a year to make his film with Kapoor. He decided not to, and opted for Ranveer Singh instead. Perhaps Shukla took this decision post the success of Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram-Leela. We'll have to wait and see if the venture will be Kapoor's loss and Singh's gain!
