CHAPTER 55
ON THE SEASHORE:
Our awesome foursome finish dinner. Vishnu calls the resort and two waiters come and clean the stuff. Raji and Lakshmi come and sit in the sands relaxedly while karthik and Vishnu go for a break.
Lakshmi: Raji ... inga paaru...
Raji looks at her and Lakshmi stretches her hand and shows the ring on her finger.
Raji: romba azhagaa irukku...
Lakshmi: Vishnu gift pannaan birthday ku...
Raji: nalla selection...
Lakshmi: naan innaikku romba santhoshamaa irukken... aanaa bayamaa vum irukku...
Raji: enna bayam?
Lakshmi: ennoda birthday santhoshamaa celebrate pannaa annaikku ethaavathu manasu kashta padara maathiri nadakkum...
Raji: adhellaam onnum illai... innaikku naal full aah evvalo santhoshamaa irundhe... idhe maadhiri ini vara pora ellaaa birthday vum naama serndhu kondaadarom... sariyaa?
Lakshmi: mmm... sari...

Vishnu: mmm... sari... nee Raji kitta Lakshmi birthday nnu munkoottiye sollalaiyaa?
Karthik:enga daa time irundhadhu?
Vishnu: ippo walk poneengale... idhai pathi solla thaan kootittupone nnu nenachen
Karthik: illa daa... vera edhoo pesikitte irunthuttom. Idhai sollalaam nu nenakkumbodhu nee phone adiche ... adhaan vandhuttom.
vishnu: Raji reaction parthuttu enakku ore tension aayiduchi...
karthik: aamaa ippo avalai vera samaadhaana paduthanum...sari... vaa... polaam...
They come to Raji and Lakshmi:
Karthik: Lakshmi... kilambalaama?
Lakshmi: mmm ok...
all of them come to the resort and freshen up and start.
when they reach the parking area...
Karthik: Raji... nee ennoda vaa... Lakshmi... unga kitta keys irukkaa?
Lakshmi: mmm... irukku Karthik...
Karthik: dei... vishnu... neeyum Lakshmiyum vandhidunga... Raji ennoda varattum...
Karthik starts his bike and Raji sits behind him. Vishnu and Lakshmi get into his car.
They decide to meet at home, say bye to each other and start off from the resort...
Karthik is riding the bike and Raji is sitting quietly. After sometime Karthik stops his bike and both of them get down. He stops the bike and sits slantingy on it..
Raji: ennaachu Karthik?
Karthik: un kitta pesanum...
Raji: enna peasnum?
Karthik: en mela kovamaa?
Raji: illaiye...
Karthik: unnoda kurale sari illaiye...
Raji: appadi ellaam onnum illai...
Karthik: kaalaile kilambaradhukku munnaadi un kitta sollanum nu thaan nenachen... aanaa Lakshmi unnodave irunthaangalaa... adhaan solla mudiyalai...
Raji: paravaa illai... nee seyyara ovvoru vishayamum enakku sollittu thaan seyyanum nu avasiyam illai...
Karthik holds her hands and draws her closer to him...
Karthik: edho vilaiyaattukku sonnaa... udane serious aah eduthukkaradhaa?
Raji: nee serious aah thaane sonne?
Karthik: en Raji ippadi irukke?
Raji: avvalo kashtamaa irukkaa?
Karthik: enna pesare nee? un kitta sollaama seyyaradhu nnu en life la entha vishayamum illai... nethu night padukkumbodhu thaan vishnu sonnaan... innaikku Lakshmi birthday nnu... adhukku aapram kaalaile irundhu thaniyaa pesara vaayppe kidaikkale... naan edho kindal

Raji: appo en appadi sonne?
Karthik: thappu dhaan... mannichukko... Sorry... inime sollamaatten...
Raji: mmm...
Karthik: sari... appo unnai kindal panra urimai enakkillai... appadi thaane...
Raji: naan appadi sollalai...
Karthik: sari... kovam pochaa?
Raji: enakku kovam ellaam onnum illai... varutham thaan...
Karthik: enna varutham?
Raji: Birthday nnu therinjirundhaa Lakshmi kku edhaavadhu gift vaangi irukkalaam ille?
Karthik: avvalo dhaane... ippo vaangittaa pochu...
Raji: nijamaa?
Karthik: enna vaangalaam nu yosi... vazhiyile vaangittu polaam...
Raji: sari...
Karthik: Raji... en mela kovam illaiye?
Raji: (smiles) mm...hmmm... illai...
Karthik: kilambalaamaa?
Karthik starts his bike and Raji gets on and he drives from there.
Suddenly there is a change in the atmosphere and cool breeze starts flowing...
Raji: Karthik... mazhai vara maathiri irukke...
Karthik: ivvalavu kaathu adichaa enga mazhai vara poguthu?
Raji: mazhai vanthaa nallaa irukkum...
Karthik: adhu sari...
He raises the accelerator and rides faster.
Small droplets of water start falling from the sky...
Karthik and Raji start enjoying the slow rain and Karthik's mobile rings...
Karthik stops the bike and takes his mobile.
Raji: yaaru Karthik?
Karthik: amma panraanga...
Raji: eduthu pesu...
Karthik answers the call and Raji gets down from the bike and starts playing with the pouring water droplets...
Karthik is talking to his mother but couldn't concentrate on what she was asking as he was completely carried away by the way Raji was playing in the rain like a small kid.
Raji stretches her hands wide open and is enjoying the tickling caused by the raindrops on her face... She then tries to clear them off with her palms... she turns around and hugs herself to get some warmth as her body shivers due to the chillness caused by the cool breeze along with raindrops...
Karthik admires her every single movement and is completely lost. he forgets where he was and his surroundings. the only thing he was aware of was that the beautiful girl in front of him is HIS LIFE and that very moment he wanted to rejoice her presence.
Karthik ends the call and walks towards Raji. As he reaches her, she smiles looking at him and gathers some water droplets in her hand and splashes on him. He also reciprocates .
He comes very close to her, takes her into his arms fondly embraces her and says "I LOVE YOU RAJI..." Raji smiles and says "I LOVE YOU TOO..."
Karthik could resist no more and kisses on her cheek and then proceeds towards her lips.
Finally... he kisses her lips with all the love he had for her and to his surprise Raji holds him tight as if she was waiting for this all her life...
Droplets of rain are pouring as if all the gods from heaven are blessing them with all the LOVE under the sky...
