Well what if one day the writers of Dulhan decided not to keep Sagar Vidya as a couple what would your reaction be?
If the Dulhan writer's portray Sagar and Vidya's seperation in the story with a well etched out reason and strong, plot to back up it up, I wouldn't mind it for a while, of course I would be terribly disheartened to see them seperating, yet if their seperation is brief, and it adds some zing or some interest into the story sure, I wouldn't mind it! Unfortunately, every single indian soap follows mostly the same format, I would have preferred if they read some novels to get some more CREATIVE ideas than what they display! And hence, if that's the way Dulhan will portray SV's seperation with un-needed stretched drama, I wouldn't torture myself, and like most other dramas which I stopped watching, Dulhan would be one of them too!
I know it sounds most unlikely but take Kasamh Se as example, Jai and Bani has even won the best couple award and millions of people love the Jai Bani jodi, but still writers have started to think of breaking up the couple by getting Bani married to Tarun, who's Jai's best friend. Please note some points... KS may have a similar storyline to Dulhan:
That couldn't be more truer! Jai and Bani have hardly been together, forget them just being physically close - ie living in the same house, but they've been more apart than together, because of constant things that keep happened...Hopefully Dulhan would add a more creative plot to Dulhan!
Jai and Bani the ideal couple. Sagar and Vidya the ideal couple. Jai having affair with Pia. Sagar's affair with Surili. Pia being pregnant, Surili pretending she had a baby of Sagar's. Pia trying to break Jai and Bani. Surili trying to break Sagar and Vidya. Tarun Jai's best friend. Tusshar Sagar's best friend. Tarun helping Bani. Tusshar helping Vidya. Tarun falling in love with Bani....
Tusshar might fall in love with Vidya
I have a sinking feeling Tusshar will fall in love with Vidya..What I don't get is, why do all second lovers have to have psychological illnesses or transform into completely out and out negative characters, why? Love is beautiful emotion, it can happen to every one, doesn't mean they need to turn into these MONSTERS or extremely NAIVE people...If Tusshar does fall in love with Vidya, I hope he supports SV and their love, instead of disrupturing their lives...I would want them to introduce a new entrant who would console Tusshar and bring him out of gloom and begin to love him and hence they can get married and live a healthy and happier life...
What will be your reaction?
My reaction would be simple "Oh Lord, let me switch the channel to see if their is something new coming on or better how about I watch re-runs of grey's anatomy instead" Seriously, I don't see any spark of chemistry between Tusshar and Vidya, neither do all relationships have to be comprised ones...I can't bear to see SV apart, and then seeing TV together, that would kill a lot interest I have in this show and in them...I only started watching Dulhann because of SV, and if their tangled in different relationships, bye bye Dulhann! There are so many other areas writers could explore to drive Dulhann's trp's up, they can't be serious if they say they can't find one fiction novel with a different story than the ultimate "LOVE TRIANGLE mess" If they want, I'll email them with dozens of ideas, which I have found in various genres of novels...then I'll see what they say, and their not necessarily all against the indian television norm/values/whatever..
