try Ouran high school host club! there's comedy and romance but u'll have to watch it online as it isn't being aired in animax as of now!

Skip beat, Saber Marionette-J, Ghosts at School, Cyborg 009, Full Metal Alchemist, Ranma 1/2, Rurouni Kenshin, Princess Tutu, InuYasha, Kimi Ni Todoke, Get Backers... are a few that I recommend.

Try watching Say " I love you"

It's romance but it isn't English dubbed yet so you could take a look if you don't have a problem against English subbed
