Urmilas earring and murder

What I find stupid unless I missed something is that when kokiila found urmilas earring she sed this has to be the murderer. The ring could've been there before and have nothing to do with the murder and also why is urmila acting so suspicious as if she has done the murder. Also the police must have checked the room thoroughly and gt everything they needed

Hmm...but the earing was found b the window and the window was open which suggests that someone tried to escape but their earing fell in haste...and only a murderer would want to escape from the place where a murder has taken place

Maybe Urmila did enter the room and saw Umang lying on the ground dead. When somebody is in a situation like this, they get very scared and would probably try to run away so they won't get into a heap load of trouble. After observing Umang on the ground dead, Urmila probably started to panic so she saw the window and quickly climbed out of the window in promptness. Her earring was presumably put on very loosely so it came of and fell onto the ground.

Urmila was up to something. I'm not sure what exactly but if anyone makes the connection with the earring then she will have some trouble convincing people that she is not the murderer.

Koki can only deduce that the earring belongs to the killer because she does not recognise it belonging to anyone in the family.

I still say it is Tripti.

My take is that Urmila may have seen the murderer but just because everything in MB revolves around Gopi she is keeping mum so that her dikhri Rashi gets acknowledged . That's why she said that she would not go near the police and get caught in the jamella. But then why is she sweating so profusely, why the need to inspect the room and hide the earring.
