Deepika Singh is gearing up for the challenging task of being an IPS officer, literally, in Diya Aur Baati Hum. She is undergoing rigorous workouts under the supervision of fitness expert Leena Mogre.
Says Leena, "I put her through a weight training and good nutrition program which includes complex carbohydrates, protein and good fat. We focussed on core strengthening and also functional training.
She has been told about the importance of warm up, cool down and stretching."To build her stamina Deepika is doing barbells chest press, lot of pull downs, squats, leg extensions, hamstring curls and calf rises. For functional training, the actress is doing sprints, squat jumps, high jumps and plyometric movements. With such an intense workout and strict diet, we won't be surprised to see a slim and svelte Deepika soon.
