Aarti woke up lazy and went into the bathroom. She pondered over last night and her fight with Aman. She was hurt that Aman was not listening to her at all. He had made up his mind that Aarti was wronged in some way and was talking about taking some legal action. Their argument ended when Aman asked her a question point blank "Aarti, please dont tell me you actually love this guy now?"

Aarti was pissed and just walked out of there after spitting a quick answer to Aman "What is love anyway?"

But now she was asking that question to herself...what was love anyway? She was upset with Aman when he was ill speaking about Yash and his family. After all, what did Yash do? He could not help the same circumstances as she did...in fact, he was so supportive to her...she cannot come up with a single complaint about him...and they never talked about what to do to "address" their "situation".

She sighed to herself...one biggest worry for her if Yash actually liked Arpita still and if he is just being gentleman towards her...she only hoped he did not take pity on her. That would hurt her even more than anything else.

Yash was having dinner with his family when he was feeling like he was missing Aarti very much. For some reason that he was not able to explain to himself, he felt like he was longing to talk to her and hear her voice...One thing he was glad about was atleast he explained to his parents about being in touch with Aarti. When his parents asked him what he wanted to do next, he simply told them he needed time for himself and Aarti to work things out. His parents were understanding, and after a long time, there was no awkwardness anymore at the dinner table. Everyone was laughing and enjoying their meal now that Pankaj and Vidhi were also back from their mini vacation.

At dinner, Yash told his father that he submitted a paper to Solar Energy International, a solar energy educational and workshop center about potential concepts and ideas. After discussing about this, Yash and Prateek spent some time with Palak and Payal and read them a bed time story. As Yash was stepping out after the kids slept, he met Vidhi.

"Thanks Yash bhaiyya. You will make a great dad to your kids and I hope everything works out for you. Aarti seemed like a nice girl."

"Thanks bhabhi..." Yash just blushed and left.

Thats when Vidhi noticed...she ran to her room..."Pankaj..Pankaj.." she called out to her husband in excitement...as Pankaj was staring at her in bewilderment as to what may have gotten into his wife suddenly...ignoring his reaction, Vidhi continued..."I think Yash bhaiyya is in love with Aarti!"

.."and what makes you think so" asked Pankaj...knowing his wife can be naive sometimes.

"Trust me on this...he does...oh Pankaj...we need to something about this...Aarti is studying in US...and god knows it is going to take her a couple of years to get done? What are they going to do until then???"

Yash logged into his laptop to check his email. He was surprised to find Aarti online on the weekend...

yash: good morning!

aarti: hello yashji. how are you? finished dinner?

yash: yep, doing great. just finished dinner

aarti: pankaj bhaiyya and vidhi bhabhi are back? did they enjoy the vacation?

yash: yeah they got back, they had a lot of fun

aarti: how come online at night today?

yash: just like that :-) are you in the library?

aarti: yeah, didnt feel like staying home...

yash: what happened, is everything ok?

aarti: yeah I am ok...nothing to worry about...its just that..

yash: wait one sec Aarti, I need to check on something real quick...

Aarti waited for 15mins, she wondered what it was about...usually Yash doesnt put her on hold like this, and she was beginning to feel annoyed...firstly, her fight with Aman...and now should she tell Yash about the fight?..what will he think...suddenly Aarti started to feel alone and miserable...when as suddenly as Yash disappeared before, he re-appeared back again

yash: sorry...I didnt mean to keep you waiting...you were telling me something?

aarti: its ok...is everything ok?

yash: yeah actually, I was working on something last week...long story..if I can call you, I'll explain...saves me the typing...

aarti: hmm, let me see...there is a pay phone outside the library...I can call from there..just need to take a calling card...

yash: wait, let me get you one quickly..

aarti: no wait...

Too late, she knew Yash was probably online trying to buy a calling card for her...

yash: wow, I didnt think it was so easy to get a international calling card. I set one up for you. I will send you an email with the details. Call me after you get it

aarti: ok

After 5mins, Yash's cell phone rang...

Both Aarti and Yash had a strange feeling..butterflies in their stomach...uneasy queasiness...with a lot of excitement Yash picked his phone...

Yash: Hello

Aarti: Hello Yashji..

Yash thought his heart will stop when he heard her sweet voice...he could only imagine her beautiful face...and her bright big eyes...he remembered their cute little interaction at the temple...

Aarti: Hello Yashji...can you hear me?

Yash: yes Aarti, sorry yes I can hear you...how are you...? its really good to hear your voice

Wait...he thought to himself..did he just blurt that out...ooops.

Aarti: is everything ok Yashji?

Yash could sense the concern in her voice...

Yash: yes Aarti...everything is fine. The reason I asked you to call me was to actually tell you something.

Aarti's heart was beating really fast.."oh god...what is he telling me...why am I feeling like this? what is happening to me...?"

Yash: I had submitted a paper to a Solar Energy Institute few weeks ago..its about some concepts and ideas on reusable energy in India...anyway l dont want to bore you too many details, long story short. I got invited to participate in a conference and a workshop they are hosting next month. Its in Colorado. I havent talked to my parents yet, but I think i will accept the offer to go there

Aarti: wow, thats really great! Congrats Yashji!

yash: Thanks Aarti! I am hoping we can meet?

Aarti could sense the hesitation in his tone...and she did not know what to say...

Aarti: definitely...if you have the time...
