Well looks like some one's 'Nazar' on QH.. Now that finally the story seems to be back in track, we hear this news of KSG quitting/ being replaced or what ever.. this is definitely very sad news for majority of the fans as the character Asad is KSG.
And when i think about whatever has been reported in the media so far, it doesn't add up at all
KSG being accused of unprofessional behaviour:
Well, i am not a KSGian and i came to know of KSG only after i started watching QH, so i don't know about his past behaviour but ever since QH started, i can see that he is a very dedicated actor.
His dedication to acting can be seen from the way he acts.. especially in parts like mangalpur and the Ajmer track etc.
So whatever faults he may have as a person, as an actor i think he is very dedicated to it.
So my question is why would an actor who is so dedicated to his acting act unprofessional this way?
there has to be a reason/reasons for it.
And so the reasons could be,
that he is unhappy with the way his character is being shaped.
he has a got a better project and wants to move on
there is another personal reason involved.
or all of this could be true.
Now as fans, we have become so much attached to Asad being portrayed by KSG. And frankly i am not a KSG fan as such but i cannot imagine anyone else playing the role of Asad in QH. KSG has given life to the role of Asad.
Now i know that there are a percentage of hardcore KSGians also out here who are rooting for KSG to leave the show and they would wait and see whichever project he does next... But i don't think this is the majority... majority of fans are those who love KSG as Asad, because the character of Asad has given KSg so much scope to performe, and KSG being the good actor that he is has brought Asad to a new height... And now Asad/KSg is not interchangeable for most of us fans and what we want is to see KSG continue as Asad.
And now in this situation what can we do as fans?
What we can do is approach everyone involved - Zee TV, Gul Khan and KSG himself and request them to reconsider... And what we say as fans of the show or as fans of KSG should be sensible and mature..
I have just seen some comments on KSG's Google profile like, "i will quit QH if you leave"
Do you honestly think he would care if someone quit watching QH, if he is uninterested in the show and was trying to leave all these days.
So instead of saying immature statements like this, if there are any fans out here (like Oishi), who can approach him, what we should try to make him understand is that majority of the fans of QH or for that matter even KSG fans want to see him as Asad and Asad's character needs him and issues can always be resolved by mutual understanding.
And lastly i would like to say that IF KSG has indeed behaved unprofessionally on purpose so that he could leave the show and go for a new project, then he really is unprofessional even if he is a dedicated actor, and also is insensitive towards his fans because he should understand that unlike a Bollywood movie, fans of a TV serial are too much attached to the character and the actor portraying it..
