Parking his car in the airport car park, rey rushed to the arrivals area,scanning through the crowd he couldn't see the one he was looking for.He waited for the crowd to disperse n grinned when he saw a man of almost of his age.He has tanned golden skin which covers his muscular body . His chest is big and buff with abs of steel. That man moved towards rey with a smile that show his dimples.

" Welcome back Karan" Rey said while hugging him.

Karan Malik, Rey and Rohan's best friend from their childhood ownwards who left India 5 years back and now he is back.

"Its so good to be back Rey" Karan said while inhaling the air of India. Rey chuckled watching him.

"Come on dude..let's go"he said grabbing Karan's bags and led him to the car.

Karan followed Rey and took the passanger seat as rey piled karan's luggages into the trunk n came back to the driver's seat.He glanced at karan who was watching outside the window.

"So how are you Rey?and how's things?" Karan asked.

"I am ok. . n things are as good and as bad as they can get." He said giving a smile.

Karan frowned and nodded.

"yeah..i heard about Rohan.. it's a really a tragedy" karan placed his hands on Rey's shoulders n rey patted his hand n smiled reassuringly.

"I am glad..Karan that you are back.you don't understand the big dilemma I'm facing now. At the moment I really want someone to talk to and I guess u are like a godsend for me."

Karan smiled and rested his head back against the seat and switched on the radio station.Then he glanced over at rey and spoke

"So hw's Kriya? It must have hard on her losing rohan like that"

Rey looked puzzled and then closed his eyes for a brief second n pulled over to the side of the road.

"I forgot that u didn't know that"

Know what??"

Rey shifted in his seat n looked at Karan.

"The accident that killed bhai.. Kriya was also there in the car."

"Whatt... she was also there? Is she okk?" he asked shocked.

"She's okk... physically...but..." he couldn't complete. His voice trailed off as he gazed out of the window avoiding karan's shocked look.

"But what Rey??" he asked placing his hands on rey's shoulder.

Rey breathed deeply before speaking. "She lost her memory"

"What?? Lost her memory??"he asked confused. "Rey explain me"

"She could remember her parents,childhood friends and other than that everything is blank"

Karan sighed and became silent for few minutes..

"She didn't even remember rohan??"he asked

She nodded in negation. Karan could see the water filled in Rey's eyes.

"Karan.. you remember the necklace Rohan bhai gave to kriya on her b'day. The one with a heart shaped pendant with KR engraved on there" Rey continued when karan nodded his head.

"When Kriya woke up from the accident she saw that and when I told her that my name was Rey and her Kriya. She assumed that KR stood for Kriy and rey.and began to believe that we were in love"

"And u didn't told her the truth?" karan asked and Rey shook his head.

"No...The doctor had instructed not to tell her the truth as it is being life threatening for kriya. And I had to do many things to make kriya believe that we were in love" Karan listened attentively and nodded his head.

"There's more Karan"

"Go ahead" karan urged him to continue.

"To get Kriya to believe that we were in love,it was necessary for me to be close to her...to touch her, to hug her,to kiss her..and.." Rey stopped for a few moments and glanced out of the window and continued ..

"See there my dilemma starts. . I had to keep bhai's all pictures and other things locked up in a room. Otherwise in any case if she sees the pictures of her with bhai could harmful to her and I always managed to keep her away from there. But my destiny again played with me.Yesterday she almost got into the room but luckily I found that n got to her first. I yelled at her for doing so but inturn she yelled at me asking why I kept the door locked. She even questioned me on my trust." Rey stopped and rolled the window down and let wind blow over his face,he breathed the clean air and looked at Karan.

"I had to shut her mouth otherwise I had answer her questions.. so..I ...I "he didn't know how to express his feelings with words.

"I kissed her but it wasn't just a kiss. It turned into something morethan that.." and he looked at Karan who was beginning to understand Rey's subtle hint.

He patted rey's back, " Don't worry dude.. Every thing will be alright"

"How can I..? How can I not worry? How am I supposed to face her..? Whe she regains her memory back she would think that I cheated on her..that I took disadvantage of her"

No rey... Its not your fault. You just saved her life..that's it"

Rey looked over at Karan wondering where he was going.

"See Rey... If Kriya was indeed your girlfriend, u would do the samething. If this hadn't happened she would have realized that something was not right in between you two.And that's when things would havegot even more complicated.And whatever you did was just to stop her...just to stop her from getting more ill.You saved her life dude"

Rey shook his head in disagreement. But Karan assured him that he was right and what ever he did last night was not his fault. After about a five minute of convincing Rey slowly began to think may be Karan was right.

"Are we going to stay here or shall we go to home?" Karan asked while seating himself comfortably.

Rey grinned and started to drive again.

Kriya wakes up again and searches for Rey hoping he was back but doesn't find him back. She checked her phone and found his message saying that they were on the way and both were hungry and asked her to make breakfast for them.She smiled and made her way towards the washroom and all the while thinking about the last night moments.

She headed downstairs after taking a hot shower and directly entered into the kitchen. She roamed around there n took each ingredients from the cupboard n started making their breakfast . Soon enough she heard Rey's car stop outside.She quickly rushed to the front door and opened it and watched as rey took Karan's bags out from the trunk and both of them proceeded towards her.

"Kriya.. Meet my best friend Karan" Kriya smiled at him

"And u knew him " Rey added.

"how's u kriya?"Karan asked

"I am well karan"

"Well I have prepared breakfast for both of u.. First u both go n fresh then we can have our breakfast" Saying this she headed towards kitchen and both the guys moved to their rooms to get freshen up.

In the breakfast table, Karan noticed that Rey avoiding Kriya. He sighed and nudged him.

"Remember what I said u did nothing fault. So talk to her n be with her."

Rey looked at Karan and then glanced at Kriya who was looking so happy. He smiled and nodded in agreement. May be Karan was right. Ofcourse Kriya was happy n that's all mattered for now. And they continued having their breakfast when kriya stood up to put her dishes away. She moved towards the sink but she started feeling dizziness. She tried to hold the sink but the dizziness continued. Rey and Karan rushed to her as she slumped into the ground.
