Late latheef as usual here but just want to say a BIG Thank you to Anil Kapoor and the entire team of 24 for giving us the best show on Indian Television in a really long time.
Every single thing about 24 was just plain fantastic, whether it was the performances (which was absolutely magnificent by the whole cast), the direction, cinematography, etc. Despite it being a remake of an American show it still managed to make it relatable to the Indian viewers. Not for once did we think that the premise was unrealistic. Nor could we take our eyes off the screen even for a second for fear of missing out on anything. The tension and suspense was constant throughout without much of lags in between.

And what a cliffhanger was that! Probably the most emotional one I've seen. Eagerly waiting for Season 2.

So once again a big thank you to the entire team of 24 for providing us with nonstop action these past few weeks. Must say, I'm mighty depressed I won't be looking forward to Friday-Saturday now.

I guess my parents will be most relieved that this show has ended. They found it very painful to sit through, without having watched the last two hours. Anyway, Colors won't be the channel to watch for me, until the next season is on air.

Elsewhere, in several family/teen dramas, people are upset when a character is withdrawn or changed a lot. Here, a character we get used to, in a few seconds, dies! Hardly the kind that will get loads of fans, but let's hope quality stays intact.

Great show, great concept, and hopefully we'll see more of it. While it was, for all practical purposes, a remake of an American show, they re-tooled it sufficiently to make it different, and also added several elements specific to India and Indian history/current affairs, to make it feel more at home, such as the Sri Lankan Civil War. The acting was good across the board, although unlike the American show, which had relative unknowns, this had film and TV veterans acting here.

Cast, crew and fans of 24 India should thank the sponsors for their strong support. Plenty of advertisers sponsoring the show, tie-ins at retailers, and of course, the title sponsor Tata Safari Storme, have done their bit in supporting a quality show that is under-rated in an era of fixed TRPs, fixed awards and muddled executive decisions in networks.

Honestly its not a genre I particularly enjoy but this show has been very engaging right from the start. My sis who normally avoids Indian shows like the plague got hooked to it. After long this was a show we actually got to watch together, so will definitely miss that for a while now.

I don't have any love for Colors but commend them for being brave enough to take on a show with a concept like this, where all other channels refused. Though given the TRPs I was a bit worried about its renewal but now I'm actually more relieved than happy that there will be a 2nd Season! Thank God! So more thanks to the sponsors for that.

I enjoyed every frame since day 1. Everyone put their best foot forward.. Anil, Tisca, Sapna to name a few. Special mention about Mandira Bedi(she was fab, exceeded my expectations).
Now I am eagerly waiting for S2. Hope they pull off something better than this !!
