So, the question is that to make yourself look pretty, does the brand actually matter?

Afterall, we are just applying make-up not some supernatural mixture to make us prettier 😳

Some other Questions:

Do you apply make-up everyday? - no not everyday, only sometimes.
What brand do you use? - Clinique, Revlon, Maybelline, Body Shop
How long have you been using the brand? - Clinique I have been using for a long time.
Have your tried anyother brand? --Yes I have tried other brands but depending on the makeup like for eyeshadow, mascara etc.
If yes, do you feel they serve the same quality? --- Some of them are good, but I prefer to stay with brands I have used more often.

I think it all really depends on the individual! I don't think it really matters whether you use Cover Girl or Lancome... it mostly depends on one's type of skin and whether a certain brand's cosmetics suit them or not, or even... whether you believe that it provides the type of coverage or beauty that you desire!

Except for the highly inexpensive make-up [you know... types that are always on clearance, etc], I think every brand has improved it's quality to protect the skin of their consumers.

Yes, I do!

Actually... I use various brands! Well... I use Pakistani/Indian kajal, Maybelline liquid liner & mascara [it's the best one out there], and Victoria's Secret lip gloss! Oh... and Cover Girl blush [in brick rose]!

How long have you been using the brand?

Well... the kajal since I don't know when, that's one thing I use just about everyday! I've been using Maybelline mascara for about 3 years now, I haven't found another that voluminizes my lashes so even and perfectly! 😃 I just started using the lip gloss almost a year ago... love it so much!

Have your tried anyother brand?

I've tried other mascaras and glosses, but just love the effect of these the most. In emergencies, I've used an eye pencil when I didn't have or couldn't find my kajal, and it was just annoying to put it on... with kajal, it's like one glide and you're hot to go... but with pencil, it took me a few strokes!

If yes, do you feel they serve the same quality?

Well, of course there have been other lip glosses that I have used and love to still... but my current color is just really nice and it suits me perfectly! As for the blush, have never found a prettier color to match my skin tone! And... mascara, I really like Lancome's mascara but I wouldn't pay so much for it, they're tiny! Hehe! I'm not cheap but that's just something I wouldn't spend the money on... plus, I feel that Great Lash works the best! 😳

So, the question is that to make yourself look pretty, does the brand actually matter? I don't think it would matter, as make up only serves to enhance your features. However, some make up is really cheap, and when applied, makes the face pasty and dull instead of giving it a glow...

What brand do you use? Yves Saint Laurent and Body shop
How long have you been using the brand? errrmmm, about 2 yrs now I think 😕
Have your tried anyother brand? Yes, I did, it made my skin oily, and I broke out... it may have just not agreed with my skin.
If yes, do you feel they serve the same quality? Definitely not. I am much happier with the brand I now use. The previous brand was not good for me and I stopped using it within a month.

cheap brands, yes the quality is bad moreover, you dont want to experiment it with your skin. but between the higher range dior, clinic, lauder it all depends on ur taste. but there is a difference in the texture of lipsticks n gloss. n maybelline shadows r just dry n dont show on my skin. the softness of kajal also depends from brand to brand.
