PART 19: Marriage In Past😉

PRATAP PERIYAPPA DEVAYANI PERIYAMMA WELCOME

Everything stunned. Everyone stood like statue the next second. Pratap turned and saw Daksh standing there near the staircase with an evil grin on his face. Pratap followed his vision and saw Khushi who was having her eyes wide and seeing the happenings. Pratap started sweating realizing Daksh's unsaid gesture.

Arnav saw their silent conversation and got alerted.

Arnav: Khushi, wont you introduce your family to mine?

Khushi who came out of the trance watched her Mama coming towards her. She dint know what to do. She was not allowed to do Intership in AR and now the CEO of AR was here with his family. What will she say her Mama?

Khushi: Mama, this is Arnav Singh Raizada and his Dada Dadi.

Khushi forgot that her Mama addressed them as Periyamma and Periyappa. For her everything went blank when her trance ended.

Daksh: Oh. Welcome Raizada's. I am Daksh Rajan. CEO of Rajan group. She is my only sister's only daughter. Khushi Sharma.

Raizada's nodded their head. Pratap's state worsened with passing second seeing Khushi brin free with Daksh. Pratap saw Akshita standing there helpless. Devyani saw this helplessness and nudged Pratap.

Devyani: What is going on? Are you hiding something?

Pratap wiped his sweat and smiled nervously.

Pratap: arey, No. What can be hidden from my CID wife?

Devyani just glared and turned to see Khushi who was talking something to Daksh. Arnav saw the growing tension and raised his brow to Dadaji.

Pratap(whispering): Chote, don't let Daksh get too close with Pari till the wedding. I am having a negative vibe.

Arnav just nodded and eyed Akshita.

Akshita understood and went to Khushi.

Akshita: Khushi, go and change and take rest. From evening you will be very busy till the wedding gets over.

Daksh just saw her and Akshita as usual avoided him. Khushi silently moved to her room.

She changed and layed straight on her bed.

Khushi: What is happening to me? I am getting married to Aran with whom I dint want to get married. But I am here all enjoying the rituals and HAPPY? HAPPY? What is happening to me? Have I started to accept Aran as my husband and like people say once the marriage is settled everything gets settled on its own? Huh! I cant even tolerate him and here I am thinking of loving him. And what is it with this Laad governor. Whenever he is near me, everything seems to be different. I am going to someother world. What is he doing to me?

With all these thoughts she dozed off as she was tired. Raizada's went to their Mansion in Mumbai and made things ready for the Maappillai Azhaippu in the Evening. As Raizada's dint have much relatives they planned to hold the ceremony upto themselves.

Pratap: Chote, we have to take care of Daksh. We cannot be performing rituals when we have a snake roaming near our legs.

Arnav looked at his Dadaji with a calculating glance and then smiled.

Arnav: Dadaji, I have already told you that I can tackle this snake. And at the time of need I myself will pull out its teeth. Snake without teeth is like warrior without weapon. Don't worry.

Pratap and Devyani smiled at their Chote's guts.

Devyani: We know Chote. But being careful is always good. Keep an eye on him.

Arnav: Done. Fine?

Here Daksh was behind Khushi like crazy.

Daksh: Khushi ma, I want to say something.

Khushi was deep in her thoughts that she dint hear him. She was just eyeing her Red Lehenga that has been given to her for the evening.

She dint know why, her heart and mind said that she has already worn that before.

Arnav was also thinking about the same. The way Khushi asked for Red Lehenga and wore that day 17 years before.

Flashback:

Arjun: So Rajiv, Tomorrow as we all are leaving to KanyaKumari, lets get my Lado and your chellam Married?

Rajiv: Arey, she is asking and you are also acting accordingly? They are kids.

Arjun: Raj, they may be kids, but see their stubbornness yaar. Lets announce their marriage. We already live like a family, lets make it real.

Rajiv: What are you about to do?

Arjun: Wait and watch.

Anjali and Avantika: what is cooking in your mind?

Arjung just winked and moved out. Khushi was celebrating her marriage. Arnav was all jaw dropped.

Khushi: Annu, I am going to wear the RED lehenga u said that I will be wearing for our wedding. We are getting married tomorrow. Annu Kuku getting married.

Arnav: Kabi toh mujhe Arnav bulaya karo. Mujhse shaadi karne ke baad bhi Annu bulane ka irada hai kya?

(call me Arnav atleast now. Are planning to call me Annu even after marriage?)

Khushi: what is your problem? Its such a nice name and I will call you that. Now, later even when we grow old and become Dada Dadi.

Arnav just shook his head and went. He knew Khushi loves he calling her Kuku and he also loves her calling him Annu. But he never admits.

Next day they were all in KanyaKumari temple. The Devi Maiyya was looking beautiful with her nose stead. Khushi was looking beautiful in her Red Lehenga. Arnav was in silk Dhoti kurta which Anjali made him wear with the help of his belt. Arjun went to the Pandit and gave him a paper. Pandit listened to him and smiled.

Rajiv: Arjun ab toh muh khol(Say atleast now)

Avantika: What did u say?

Anjali: What was in that paper?

Arjun: Relax. Its just a paper with our children name written in it. Now Arnav Khushi come here, give me your lockets.

Khushi just glared at her Arjun Mama. But he reassured her. Arnav frowned and gave his locket to his father and Khushi followed him. Arjun went to Pandit and gave him the lockets which were returned to him after keeping it on DM's feet. Arjun gave their lockets to them and asked to make the other wear it. Arnav happily did it. Khushi was all damn excited and she also did as asked. After this Arjun looked at everyone and said.

Arjun: So now My son and daughter of Rajiv are announced as husband and wife.

Rajiv understood.

Rajiv: and 17 years from today, when Khushi turns 26 and Arnav 27, they will get married legally.

Khushi was all jumping holding Arnav. After hearing their announcement, Khushi hugged Arnav as tight as possible and gave him a sound kiss and this time instead of blushing Arnav kissed her back soundly on her soft cheek making her blush.

This is how their fate was sealed and to his convenience Daksh arranged Aran and Khushi's marriage on the same day as their fathers announced them as husband and wife.

Daksh: KHUSHI

This bought her out of the vision she was having.

Khushi: haan Mama

Daksh: I said I wanted to say something important to you.

Khushi: Yes.

But before Daksh could start, Aran came to him with his mobile.

Aran: Appa, phone.

Daksh huffed and puffed at his son's timing. But what he dint know was that, the interruption was due to his wife Akshita's perfect timing.

Daksh: Hello DR here.

Arnav: Chitthappa, ASR here..

Imagine some tapori background music guys. Daksh ki lagi hai vaat.

Daksh: What now?

Arnav: don't you try acting smart by spilling everything to Khushi, Illa unga vandavaalam ellam thandavaalam erum. Straight Police station than, lock up than. Puriyuda?

I will expose you completely and you will end up straight in police lock up. Understand?

Daksh started sweating badly. Seeing this Aran's state was also getting worse.

Daksh: no no. I will not do anything like that. Why will I?

Arnav: good. Now hang the call, I have some urgent work. Wont u ask me what it is?

Arnav asked and smirked.

Daksh wiped his forehead and asked.

Daksh: WHAT?

Arnav: put your phone on speaker.

Daksh did as he said and Aran was also hearing Arnav now.

Arnav: I am going to romance with my wife, that is your was to be daughter in law Khushi. Bye Chitthappa. Bye Aran Anna.

Saying he hung the call and laughed imagining their irritated faces. He happily went to get ready.
