Although the show was based on an American one it had been very well adapted to the taste of the Indian audience... there was a great deal of action, it was fast-paced, there were many emotional and sensitive issues shown and above all a fabulous performance by each and every actor...
The finale episodes/week had almost all of us sitting on the edge of our chairs/sofas, and glued to our tvs for fear that if we left our seats for even a minute we would miss something of importance...
Alghough Divya being the traitor/leak had been guessed by many (me included), her acting in the final face-off with Aditya was awesome...
As for Aditya... his shocked and hurt expressions when he realised it was his much-loved sister who had been behind all this was commendable...felt really sorry for the guy...his life and premiership came at a terrible cost...what an emotional turmoil when u are made to come face to face with the treachory and betrayal of one whom u not only loved to extremity but in whom u had the utmost faith also..
As for Jai Singh Rathor...hats off to our much-loved ATU agent/chief...He saved the PM but at what cost...he almost lost his beloved wife, his son refused to speak to him, probably blaming the father for his mom being on death's door...
And all this in a span of just 24 hours/one day only...
Best of all was the way they ended the show...not saying anything about Trisha being alive or dead...this makes it very obvious that the next season will take off from this point...
Once again a very big thank you to the entire cast and crew of 24 and also to Colours for giving us an exciting 12 weeks of television viewing and also a Season 2 to look forward to.
