The year 2013 is drawing to a close, and as we keep our interesting Year Ender series articles coming, we stop by to celebrate the happy moments of 2013. Happy in the sense, the happiness of getting into the marital knot'...

Who said weddings are an outdated concept? Well, we say they are very much in, as we have a big list of television celebrities who got married this year. And we must admit that this wedding list keeps increasing with every passing year.

Here is a list of some of the most adorable couples from the television industry who went on to take the marital vows this year.

Ajay Chaudhary- Jyoti Makkar: This adorable TV couple first met on the sets of Love Story' where it was love at first sight for Ajay. He later went on to cross seven oceans to ask for Jyoti's hand from her parents. Why do we say seven oceans? It's because Jyoti and her family was staying in the US then. Luckily after a lot of persuasion Jyoti's family agreed to their relationship and the duo got engaged followed by a grand wedding. They had a traditional Hindu as well as a Catholic wedding - The best of both traditions on 16 January.

Gaurav S Bajaj- Sakshi Shhorwani: Arranged marriages can turn out to be extremely beautiful and the best example for such a wedding is here. This Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai star, Gaurav, met Disha through his parents and later love blossomed. Since the duo had been staying in two different cities before the wedding they kept meeting on weekends and finally went on to tie the knot on 10 December.

Mrunal Jain-Sweety (Santosh) Jain: Yet another arranged marriage for a telly star. Yes, this one too was an arranged marriage attended by close family and friends of the lovely couple on 13 July. Interestingly, the busy star Mrunal better known as Akash of Colors' Uttaran hasn't had the time to go for his honeymoon yet. We hope these love birds get some time off from work soon.
