For the next 15 days, Ram and Priya were both busy in their work; on the one hand Ram was in the meetings with his client in Geneva, the deal they have signed, on the other Priya was busy with her job. Priya is happy to work under her mentor Vishwas Prajapati, he still guided her and also gave ample freedom to work. She is still learning from him; in fact their team is the best in this Hotel. Her fellow colleagues help her in every respect. People started liking her and also her dedications towards her work. She can see respect in their eyes. She felt happy working with them, no doubt Priya is efficient and hard working with that she has an ability to foresee things, in one month kuch aise suggestions Priya ne Vishwasji ko diya hain jo bohot faydemand saabit huye hain, she knows the tricks as she has prior experiences. Priya still today believes that Rajat made her efficient in her administration skills, he always backed her and guided her, she felt extremely happy and proud that she got to work with her mentor and Rajat as her boss. Hotel Afra me Priya ko koi parreshaani nahi ho rahi hain, her fellow colleagues are good, peheli hi din sabse ache se dosti ho gayi uski, lekin Rishi SinhaRoy, ke saath Priya ki alag hi tuning ho gayi hain. Rishi SinhaRoy, who is in her team is a fun loving, jovial and full of life person, 27 years of age and is the most efficient in the team, always ready to help everyone and always try to bring smile on their faces who are surrounding him. Pehele hi din usne Priya ke saath dosti kar li and they hit the correct chord. Priya is always very open and serious in her work, she too loves happy atmosphere, in fact in Silver Arcade too she was loved by all because of her nature, she never shouts or throw tantrums rather she liked to work in teams and she make sure everyone is focused in her team but at the same they do fun and keep away the monotony of work by creating a light atmosphere in the place. Here too Priya does the same and in this Rishi is her biggest support, both know their job but also they know how to make things light. When Mr. Prajapati introduces Priya with everyone, he stopped for moment introducing Rishi and said,
Mr. Prajapati - Priya, he is Rishi SinhaRoy, humare team ka tempo, kabhi bhi koi problem ho in janaab ke paas hamesha solution hota hain, very focused yet clumsy in his life, saying this he smiled at him.

Aaj dadi ke kehne par Priya ne Ram ka saaman pack karne aayi thi though she knew in her heart Ram will not let her do that but to her surprise Ram let her do that, even in the airport he talked to Priya, inn ek mahine me yeh peheli bar hua, Priya could only reciprocate him aur ab yeh karma khaali khaali lag raha hain.
Next day Priya was in her cabin going through some files, actually she wanted to change something and that's why wanted to discuss that with her boss. Rishi came in,
Rishi - tum abhi bhi yehi ho, Sir shayad wait kar rahe hain?
Priya - nahi, Sir se meri baat huyi hain, lunch ke baad hum yeh discuss karenge.
Rishi - kya baat hain yaar, tum itni tense kyun lag rahi ho?, is everything alright?
Priya - nahi woh main actually soch rahi thi ke kya humne jo socha hain woh theek hoga, aise achanak itne saare changes...
Rishi came and sat in front of her and said, relax Priya, humne sirf socha hain, aur woh Sir ko hum batayenge and we will try to let him make understand the situation, baaki decision will be taken by him only.

Disha came in and said, yes presentation is ready, don't worry, Sir ne kahan hain ki the meeting will start after lunch.

Priya - haan chalo, saying this she grabbed her lunch box and all came to the cafeteria.
Ab Priya ki team hamesha lunch ek saath karte hain, it's a 7 members team, toh all sat for lunch. Jab bhi inn logon ka lunch hota hain ek unique cheez hoti hain. The first day when she sat with them, Priya ko bohot mazaa aaya tha lekin dheere dheere usse yeh cheez achhi lagne lagi hain. Priya always takes her lunch box but not everyone brings it lekin phir bhi jab bhi saath lunch karte hain sab aapne aapne foods ko evenly distribute karte hain yaani ke they divide the food in 7 equal parts and share with each other. Her team members believe that by doing this love spreads among each other. Priya liked this and she also started doing that. Pehele din Priya bohot kuch share nahi kar paayi lekin from next day woh thoda extra leke jaati hain jisse usse embarrass na hona pade though her colleagues don't mind getting little amount, its just the warmth they shared by sharing their food. Aaj Priya ne puri aur chholey leke aayi hain and she distributed equally among all. Rishi, Disha, Anjali, Rohan, Shaheen, Lily and Priya - these are 7 members. All were enjoying their lunch aur aaj toh double celebration ho gaya, Shaheen brought sewaai today, Eid ke baad she joined today toh sab ke liye le aayi hain. All became happy to see that specially Rishi.
Rishi - yaar Shaheen, you just too good yaar, mujhe toh dekh ke hi muh me paani aa raha hain
Anjali - thoda toh control kar Rishi
Rishi - yaar mujhse control nahi hoga, peheli bataa raha hoon sab ko ek spoon milegi baaki sab mere liye
Shaheen smiled and said, theek hain tum hi pura khana hum sab apne ungli ko duba ke chhakh lenge.
All laughed hearing her.
Rohan - Rishi, ek baat bata tu jab Calcutta jata hain toh kya karta hain?
Rishi - poonch maat, Calcutta ke mithai, yaad mat dila yaar, pata hain hamare ghar pe puja me baba wahi se mithai mangwate hain
Priya - tumhare ghar me puja matlab?
Lily - iss ke ghar pe Durga puja hoti hain, every year, and every year we are invited all the four days.
Rishi - iss baar tumhe bhi aana hain

Ab iske baad sab apne apne lunch me busy ho gaye and they talked about the meeting and how to made the thing much better.
Priya ki zindagi aise hi chal rahi hain, office se ghar aur ghar se office, aur sach maano toh usse ab sukoon bhi hain, office me sab ke saath kaam karti hain, masti mazaak bhi karti hain, slowly and slowly she is getting back to her normal life aur jab ghar pe rehti hain toh either kitchen me ya phir dadi aur Krishnaji ke saath baat karti hain, Natasha aur Rishabh se mazaak bhi karti hain lekin kamre bilkul chhup ho jaati hain, koi dekh ke nahi kahega ke Ram aur Priya me koi rishta nahi hain, rishta toh hain lekin sirf naam ka.
Ram is in Geneva for his meeting. He will be there for 15 days, lekin Priya ke routine me badlaav nahi aaya hain, Ram went on Saturday late night and next day Priya came to meet Meethi and the children, as usual she spent some time with them and then came back. Priya continues with her daily routine, beech me Shruthi se, Mishra's se bhi baat huyi hain aur Neha se toh aksar phone pe baat hoti hain, aur kabhi kabhi mulaqaatein bhi jab bhi woh kaam ke silsile me KI aati hain toh ghar pe aati hi hain tab milna ho hi jaata hain. Priya very smoothly and deliberately avoided the topic of her and Ram from Neha. She got to know about Priya's job and she became very happy for her, she and Vikram are also happy in their own world.
Ram ke jaane ke baad Priya ko koi phone nahi kiya hain, sirf Krishnaji se usse pata chala hain ki woh wahan theek thak pohaunch gaya hain, Priya ne yeh sunn ke kuch nahi boli, aur sab ko laga Priya yeh baat janti hain, sach hi toh hain nayi nayi shaadi huyi hain aur pati 15din ke liye foreign gaya hain toh kya biwi ko phone nahi karta hain?, kheyr Priya ne bhi koi interest nahi dikhayi aur baat aage nahi bari. Ram ko gaye huye 10 din ho gaye hain, Priya was in her room, raat kaafi ho chuki hain aur Priya abhi tak soyi nahi thi, actually she was making a presentation, it was almost 11:30 in the clock, she was very much focused in her presentation, so much so that she startled to hear the phone sound, raat ke sannato ko chhirte huye jab uska phone baja toh Priya thoda chauk gayi, she looked at the clock of her laptop and then took her phone, it was Ram on the other end. Priya didn't expect him to call her, she was surprised but this idea didn't linger in her mind, rather usse yehi laga ke Ram theek toh hain na, kahin unhe kuch hua toh nahi?, aise hi sochte sochte she took the call,
Ram - tum so gayi thi shayad, I am sorry to disturb you
Priya was relieved to hear his normal voice, after some pause she said, its okay, kahiye

Priya - sab theek hain
Ram - Meethi se mulaqaat huyi, aur bachhon se?
Priya - haan milne gayi thi, sab aapko miss karte hain
Ram wanted to talk to Priya par woh kuch keh nahi paa raha hain, actually he doesn't even know how to talk to her, what to say, on the other hand Priya was wondering why Ram called her.
Ram - yahaan abhi raat ke 8 baaje hain, its very cold outside, but the city is very beautiful.
Priya - hmmm, okay
Ram - tum abhi tak soyi nahi, wahan toh raat kaafi ho gayi hain na?
Priya - nahi...haan...woh actually ek presentation taiyyar kar rahi thi toh...
Ram - kaam kaise chal raha hain
Priya - achha hain
Ram was still thinking what to say, how to ask?
Ram - tum kaisi ho Priya?
Priya kept mum for moments, and then said am fine

Both hung up the call, Priya concentrated on her presentation but Ram on the other hand was in a mall, actually he came here to shop for his family, Ram jab bhi kahin bahar jaate hain toh sab ke liye kuch na kuch khareed ta hi hain, toh iss baar bhi he came to shop for them. Yahaan aaye huye 10 din ho gaye hain and all this while he was busy in his meetings toh kisi aur cheez pe he couldn't focus but every day he wished to talk with Priya but simply could not. Today he came in the mall and was going through the shops when he spotted a beautiful wristlet which was more like a band. It was in platinum with diamonds studded in it, looks very elegant and stylish. Ram looked at it and thought of buying it for Priya. It is when he thought of talking with Priya, he looked at his watch but wanted to give a chance, he called and his call was answered. Ram badly wanted to talk with her, he wanted to share his views with her, somewhere he started liking her, he accepted her as his friend but Priya guarded herself and doesn't come in front of him, though they share the room but sometimes Ram think he is the only person living in the room. He liked when Priya came in the airport to see him off, he liked when Priya is in Little Angel spending her time with children and Meethi, he liked when she smiled with them, he liked her smile but became lifeless when she comes in the room, Ram ko bilkul achha nahi lagta, he doesn't know why he feels bad but he do, he really do, he doesn't want to see Priya sad.
After keeping the phone, he sighed and came to the jewellery store and bought that wristband. He gift wrapped it and came to another shop. He did his shopping and came back to his Hotel.
Next day in the morning everyone was having their breakfast, Priya was serving when Dadi asked,
Dadi - Priya puttar, tera Golu se baat huyi hain kya?, kab wapas aa raha hain woh?
Priya - dadi unhone kahan hain ki woh Friday ko aa rahe hain
Krishnaji - beta baat huyi hain usse?, kaisa hain woh?
Priya - jee maa, kal raat ko baat huyi hain, achhen hain
Dadi - chalo achha hain, uske bina yeh ghar bada suna suna sa lagta hain
Priya smiled hearing her.
Aaj Priya ka ek bohot important presentation hain, jo meeting uss din hua tha usko aur detailing ki zaroorat thi toh aaj phir se meeting hain and that too in first half, so Priya geared up and came to Hotel little early. Uss din ke baad Priya akeli hi aati hain, Ram ne bhi force nahi kiya aur Priya bhi kuch aur boli nahi. She came to her room, kept her bag and drank the water. She took out her laptop and started going through the presentation again for final check.
On the other Ram too was busy in his meetings, this is the last one, everything is done, paper work is almost completed, the deal is finalized and the work will start very soon. He wanted to finish off all the formalities before going back; he wanted to be with his family, with Priya. For past 15 days Ram is constantly thinking about her and this time he misses her, kahin kuch na kuch toh ho raha tha and Ram can feel that but its just he couldn't figure it out. He finished the meeting and came to his Hotel suite. Today is the last night of him in Geneva. He has to attend a dinner arranged by the gentlemen with whom he signed his deal. Ram came in the room and came for a shower. He got ready within next 30 mins and came to the glass window of his suite. He is in the 18th floor of the Hotel and from here he can see the entire city, it is almost 8 PM according to local time. The scene from his suite is breathtakingly beautiful, he was gazing in front, suddenly he remembered Priya's face and he wished if Priya was with him. He took out his mobile and was about to dial her number but was hesitant, he looked for moments in his mobile and it is then his eyes fall on his wedding ring. Ram always liked the ring, simple, elegant yet very stylish. He sat on the sofa and took out the ring and was looking at it when his eyes fall on the image that is carved on it, Ram didn't notice this before, he brought the ring closer to his eyes and then looked at the image carefully, it was then he noticed that it wasn't an image but it was his name carved on it and it is absolutely beautiful. Ram was very much amazed with it and a gentle smile appeared on his lips. He understood Priya herself has bought this ring, he felt a tug of proudness in his heart unknowingly.
The dinner has started; it was just an official one. Ram normally like this kind of dinner as this is the best place where he can find out the tricks and gimmicks of his client and also their weaker part, but today he was not simply liking it, he badly wanted to finish this off, his mind is hovered by only Priya's thoughts. The dinner was over and the gentlemen took his leave. The dinner was arranged in the same Hotel where he was staying. Ram bid them good bye and came to the bar. He was enjoying his drink there when a girl appeared before him. She sat beside him and also ordered a drink for her. Ram was in his thoughts, he was looking ravishing in his casuals, denim jeans with a pair of polo collar tee and a jacket.
Girl - feeling bored!
Ram looked at her and just smiled.
Girl - lets! enjoy the night together
Ram looked at her and instantly understood what type of girl is she, in fact he understood his clients trick, he smiled and politely said, no thank you, I guess I love my wife so much that I would like to spend my time with her only, saying this he completed his drink, paid the bill and said a good night to the girl and came back in his suite.
He changed in his night suite and lied on the bed, its very cold here, he covered himself with the duvet but his mind was still thinking about Priya. Suddenly he remembered what he has said to the girl in the Bar, what made him say such? do I really want to spend my time with Priya? why I am missing her so much, why can't I enjoy my life without her, after he spent the night with Priya in Amritsar, Ram neither seen any girl nor he spent any night with anyone. He was thinking, I could have easily spent the night with that girl but I simply couldn't, I felt it wasn't right, when she asked me for it the only thought came in my mind was Priya. Why am thinking so much about her, am I falling for her?, this thought made him tossed in the bed but he couldn't sleep, he got up and rested his back on the headboard of the bed. He closed his eyes and flashes of the Amritsar night came in front of his eyes. The first time he held her in his arms, their kiss in the rain, Priya shivered under him, her skin as smooth as silk and when he took her in him, all came back infront of his eyes, though it wasn't his first time but he felt a sense of satisfaction, belongingness in her arms. Ram pressed his temple with his fingers and shook his head. He again lied on bed and closed his eyes but the thought of Priya isn't fading away but slowly and slowly sleep engulfs him and he slept.
Priya was in office, it was almost 8 PM in the clock, today is Friday and Ram is coming home. She knows that but can't help it, the meeting was successful and everyone liked her presentation, now its time to give shape to that idea. She and her team are busy with that. Priya dono't know when, exactly at what time he is coming back, she just wanted to see him once, she sighed and concentrated on her work. She has already informed in home that she will be late today, for last couple of days this is what happening, she felt bad but cannot do anything. When dadi asked her if she can manage early, she said she will try, but now she can't do anything. She concentrated on her work. On the other hand, Ram came back from his office early today. He came back in the afternoon but send his luggage to home and himself came in the office. He discussed some important matter with his team and Rishabh and then came back to Kapoor Mansion. Aaj bade din baad Krishnaji, dadi and Ram were having their evening tea.
Dadi - kaisa hain tu? itne dino ke liye mat jaa, mujhe achha nahi lagta
Ram smiled and came and hugged her and said, kya karun dadi, afterall kaam toh kaam hain na
Krishnaji - kaam toh hota rahega lekin ab Priya bhi toh teri zimmedari hain, shaadi huye sirf do mahine hi huye hain aur abhi tak tum dono ne honeymoon bhi nahi gaye ho, tu itna busy rehta hain ke tum dono waqt bhi nahi beeta paate aur ab yeh Priya, peechle kuch dino se dekh rahi hoon bohot stressed rehti hain, late bhi ho raha hain, aise kaise chalega beta.
Ram didn't know about that, he expected Priya home when he came back but she wasn't and now he gets to hear the reason.
Ram - maa, aap toh jante hain ki main kaam ke saath koi samjhauta nahi karta hoon.
Dadi - tujhe samjhauta karne ko kisne kahan hain, kya shaadi ke baad log kam karna chhod dete hain? tu bas thoda Priya ke saath waqt beeta.
Krishnaji - tere papa ne bhi kabhi compromise nahi kiya hain, lekin unhone mere saath bhi waqt beetaya hain.
Ram has no answer for these things, in fact now he too wants to spend time with her, but Priya...
Sudden noise of Natasha made Ram come out from his thoughts and he smiled at her. Natasha came and hugged him tightly.
Natasha - am so happy to see you, Geneva kaisa raha, all set to roll the things?
Ram - yes, but it means more pressure on you, do one thing, Neha ko bula le, you need someone who can guide you.
Natasha - achha hota agar bhabhi hamare saath hoti, she was experienced and capable too.
Krishnaji - ab yeh sab chodo, aur bata Ram, Geneva kaisa raha.
All sat in the hall, in the meantime Rishabh too came back and joined them. All were having a gala evening. Ram handed everyone's gifts and all were very happy. Baton baton kab waqt guzar gaya pata hi nahi chala, it was almost dinner time, Priya abhi tak wapas nahi aayi hain, Ram was becoming impatient in his heart.
Krishnaji - beeji aap sab log dinner kar lijiye main Priya ke saath hi khaa lungi.
Natasha - maa aap rehene dijiye, main wait kar leti hoon.
Ram - kisi ko wait karne ki zaroorat nahi hain.
Dadi - puttar woh bahu hain iss ghar ki, beti ki tarah hain, woh bachhi bhooki hogi aur hum sab yahan khaa lenge aisa kaise ho sakta hain?
Ram - aisi baat hain toh main uske saath hi khaa lunga, aap log wait mat kijiye.
Krishnaji and dadi smiled hearing him. Natasha teased him. Ram too became astonished as he said such things. Why the hell on this Earth he will wait for her, Priya is not a child, she can eat on her ownself. All started for their dinner and at that moment Priya came in. Everyone looked at her and she smiled looking at them. Ram looked at her while Priya too looked at him, for moments they kept looking at each other then she shifted her gaze and smiled at dadi, who asked her to join them. Priya went to her room, kept her bag, washed her hand, splashed water on her face and joined them. Krishnaji served her, Priya was very hungry, she started having her food.
Natasha - pata hain bhabhi aaj bhai aapke liye wait karnewale the.
Ram was embarrassed hearing this, Priya only smiled. Ram was expecting some other reaction but he couldn't find any.
After they completed their dinner, all retired to their room. Priya came back and came to washroom. She came out freshnd up and was standing in front of the mirror in changing room. She combed her hair and was making a fresh tress when Ram entered in the room to change. He looked Priya in the mirror and noticed that she wasn't wearing her chuda in the hand, rather was wearing some silver bangles that too in one hand. Her left hand's ring finger bearing her wedding ring and mangalsutra was dangling from her neck was wearing an ear top but he couldn't see the sindor on her forehead. Priya is even looking beautiful in this but somewhere Ram found her lifeless. He was watching her; Priya sensed that but didn't react. After making the tress, she came out from the room giving Ram his privacy. She was about to sleep when Ram came out wearing his night dress which is a loose fitting tee and a loose track pant.
Ram - kaisi ho Priya?
Priya answered without looking at him.
Ram - maa keh rahi thi ke tumhe aajkal aane me der ho rahi hain, kya work pressure bohot hain.
Priya - haan
Ram is getting pissed off from her behavior, he badly wanted to talk to her but she is not even interested.
Ram - tum wapas kaise aayi?, I mean itne raat ko, cab ya auto is not safe.
Priya - I can manage Mr. Kapoor, thanks for your concern.
Ram - I will send the car from tomorrow, you don't have to travel by any other means.
Priya turned and faced him, she looked at him for moment and then said thank you par mujhe aapki madad nahi chahiye, I can manage my ownself.
Ram now getting really pissed off, said, Priya uss baat ke liye kitni baar maine sorry kahan hain, I said I didn't meant it...
Priya - aur maine bhi aapse kahan hain ki aapko sorry bolne ki zaroorat nahi hain
Ram - tum mujhse aise kyun behave karti ho?, why can't you behave like a normal person with me, agar mere koi bhi baat se tum hurt ho toh just tell me.
Priya kept looking at him and was suppressing her emotion while biting her lower lip, she gulped it and said, aisa kuch nahi hain

Ram stopped while Priya was still looking at him and hearing him out. Priya kept mum, she neither reacts nor says anything. Ram left her arms but keep standing there. After sometimes he came to his bed and lied down. Priya came to her couch and lied down. The room was engulfed by the darkness but both Ram and Priya couldn't sleep. Ram ne aaj bohot kuch bol diya Priya ko, though he wasn't ready to say such but he couldn't hold himself back, on the other Priya aaj peheli baar bohot alag Ram Kapoor ko dekh rahi thi, Ram ki aankhon me woh sachhai dekhi hain lekin uska dil darta hain, isse pehele bhi usne dhokha khaya hain apne rishten me lekin ab aur himmat nahi bachhi hain usme, she said in her heart, iss baar agar kuch hua toh main apne aap ko samhal nahi payungi, isi liye main aisa kuch nahi karungi jisse aisa kuch ho. Ram, on the other hand said, I promise you Priya ab humari dosti me kuch bhi bura nahi hoga, I will not let you fall, I will protect you and will prove that we also can be good friends chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi karna pare, but I will get back your friendship.
