Outside the Karmarkar Hosue

A lady and the watchman(outside the Karmarkar House) are standing outside the gate. The lady slaps the watchman and tells him that this is her house. She asks him angrily, would I need my photo ID to enter my own house?! Are you not ashamed?! The watchman says sorry madam. A servant comes outside and he welcomes the lady and asks her if she had any trouble coming here. The lady says you are talking to me so so sweetly and this watchman of yours talks so rudely to me?! The servant says please forgive us madam, actually he is new here and he doesn't know you so I apologize to you on his behalf. This mistake won't be repeated again madam. The watchman says sorry maam. The watchman says sorry madam. The lady says furiously, it should not happen again and if this mistake is repeated again then he(the watchman) will not be here and neither will you, ok? Get my stuff out! The servant tells the watchman to get her stuff out from the car quickly. The watchman says ok sir. The lady walks in through the gate and she is scolding the servants for not doing their work properly and she tells them that they don't earn money to rest but to work, she says now that I have come back I will not tolerate any carelessness. The lady says you all have heard about my anger, and says if you are careless you will see my anger.

Karmarkar House

Rushali is talking to someone on the phone(maybe her friend) and she is telling them she is really sorry about what happened this morning, and says it was just really embarrassing for me. Rushali says thank you so much for understanding and yes we will meet, bye. Shirish comes in the room. Rushali says to Shirish, God Shirish, we will have to do something about Raghav Mahatre, it's the limit. This man is now coming to our house and creating drama. Shirish says relax Rushali, calm down. Let me handle Raghav Mahatre, and also I knew before what type and what class he was of, we still had Ankita get married to Naren, it was a conscious decision. Rushali sees the lady who was scolding the servants outside and she shows Shirish. Her name is Sunanda. Rushali says Sunanda tai is here. Shirish says I had no idea she was coming, no message, nothing. Rushali says Shirish what will we do? Shirish says we will have to handle it, let's go receive her. Rushali says Shirish, we didn't tell her about Naren's marriage. Shirish says God Rushali, I told you to call her! If you called her then this trouble would not happen. You know she is so particular about everything especially Naren. If she finds out then she will be very mad. Rushali says what would I do and what would I tell her? That I had Naren marry a girl from a chawl, don't you know what her reaction would be? Shirish says I know what reaction would be Rushali, but you know that nothing can be hidden from tai. God Rushali, technically the house and business is on her name. If she gets angry, it would be so terrible. Rushali says we can't make her mad, we can't do that Shirish. I thought we would get Naren married and he would be ok.

Karmarkar House

Shirish says he has gotten married but he is still not completely normal yet, I don't know what's going to happen. Whatever it is, we will have to do something. Let's go handle it. Rushali says ok and she gets her phone out. Shirish says annoyed, why are you getting your phone out? Rushali says I have to call Ankita, she can't come yet. Rushali is about to call Ankita but Sunanda comes in the house. Rushali smiles and says Sunanda tai! What a surprise! Shirish says tai, you are here? Come in, come in. Rushali says come in. Shirish and Rushali both seek Sunanda's blessings and they ask her how she is. Sunanda says I am absolutely fine. Shirish smiles and says you did not give us any news or call, I would have came to the airport to pick you up. Sunanda says this is why I came without informing you. In London we call it a surprise, it is fun and then we find out about some hidden things, right Rushali? Rushali says what would we hide from you? Sunanda says that's what I want to know. Rushali gets a phone call and she excuses herself. It is Ankita, she is in the car with Naren. Rushali says hello. Ankita says yes, you called? Rushali says when are you coming back? Ankita says yes we will be here in 5 minutes. Rushali says ok and hangs up. Sunanda tells Shirish and Rushali that London has a lot of doctors but it did not help. Someone suggested me to go to India and try naturopathy. Shirish smiles and says yes. Sunanda says I thought why not, this is my home country and this way I will also get to meet you guys so I came. Rushali and Shirish say it's very good that she came.

Karmarkar House

Raunaq comes in the room. Sunanda sees Raunaq and says Raunaq, what are you doing here at home? Ranuaq seeks her blessings and Sunanda asks him if he is having back pain? Raunaq seeks her blessings again and Sunanda says stay happy. Sunanada says what is this Raunaq, you have gotten so skinny! Does your mother not feed you? Ranuaq says no Atu, look I'm fine, I'm fit! Sunanda asks, then why didn't you go to the office? Shirish and Raunaq look a tad embarrassed. Sunanda says a person should stay busy in their work. An empty mind is a devil's workshop. And you think about those things which you should never think about. Shirish says tai actually we just finished a very big project at our office so Raunaq is just taking a break, nothing else. Rushali smiles and says yes. Sunanda says oh, then it's ok. Oh where is Naren? Rushali says he is gone to work. Shirish says he had a meeting. Sunanda says he is gone to the office so we probably won't see him till evening? Rushali smiles and says no. Sunanda says he's a genius and when you are so busy you don't remember to eat, drink, sleep, wake up. Ok when he comes home then inform me, ok? Rushali says of course, of course. You have come here from a long flight, please rest. I will get you some food, come in the room. Sunanda holds her hand out. Shirish and Rushali stop smiling. Sunanda says I am not new to this house, I know where the rooms are. Sunanda smiles and leaves the room. Rushali says quietly, thank God, it was good that Naren and Ankita didn't come back before tai left, I don't know what would happen. Raunaq says why? Rushali says because we did not tell tai about Naren's marriage. Raunaq says and why didn't we do that? Rushali imitates, why didn't we do that? Don't you know your Atu, how class conscious she is? If she found out that Naren married a girl from a lower middle class then do you know what her reaction would be? Raunaq smiles.

Karmarkar House

Naren and Ankita are coming in the house. Naren says, Raunaq! Naren is starting to tell Raunaq about the office but Raunaq says whoa, whoa please! I don't want to know about the office because I have nothing to do with the office. Naren says why? Rushali says to Ankita that she needs her for a minute. Naren says should I come too? Rushali says no, just the two of us. Rushali and Ankita start going upstairs. Naren starts telling Shirish about the office when Sunanda comes from one of the rooms downstairs. Ankita and Rushali are standing upstairs and they look down and see Sunanda. Naren is showing something about his office on his phone to Shirish when Sunanda comes up behind him and blindfolds him with her hands. Naren gets confused and says oh mom? Ahana? Sunanda says Naren! Naren turns around he sees Sunanda and gets very happy. Naren says oh my God Atu, it's you! Atu I don't believe this! Ankita and Rushali watch this from upstairs smiling. Naren hugs and kisses Sunanda. Naren also seeks her blessings and then asks her how she is. Ankita and Rushali leave the area upstairs and go to one of the rooms upstairs. Naren says I miss you but I am angry at you. Sunanda says why? Naren says you have come after so many years? Did you forget your Naren, you don't remember me? Sunanda says what are you saying, would I ever forget you? If I forget about you and stop thinking about you then there will be nothing to think about in my life. Naren smiles and says that's my Atu! Naren gives her another kiss. Sunanda says ok you tell me how you are, and how is your health? Naren says my health, what happened to me? I am ok. Sunanda smiles and Naren says and you, you have aged! Naren is joking with her and Sunanda looks at Naren angrily in a joking way. Naren says I'm sorry, did you meet Ahana?

Karmarkar House

Shirish looks a little afraid and Raunaq smiles. Sunanda is about to ask who is Ahana when Shirish changes the subject and says tai, did you get Naren the chocolates from London which I like a lot too? Naren asks her if she bought it. Sunanda says of course, would I ever forget your favorite chocolates? Naren gives her a high five and he says dad I'm not giving you any chocolate. Shirish says but? Naren and Sunanda go to the room.

Outside Ankita's house

Soham is outside his home. He is singing and making noise outside. Soham stops a motorcycle driver and he feeds them a bite of sweets. Soham goes to one of the sellers and he asks him why he is distributing sweets? Did you stop drinking? Soham says I drink international wine and I am not burdened anymore. Soham is shouting loudly that he is relieved of the burden of having to owe so much money. Soham smiles and says I can distribute sweets daily now.

Karmarkar House in the bedroom

Rushali and Ankita are in the bedroom upstairs. Rushali says to Ankita, you saw Sunanda tai today, Shirish's older sister. She lives in London. Actually Ankita, this house is what it is due to Sunanda tai. From Shirish's business to everything, this was all established due to Sunanda tai's money and support. In fact she is still the owner of everything today. She never got married and that's why we are her family. She loves Naren and Raunaq like her children. Ankita smiles and says this is why Naren sir was so excited to see her right? Rushali says yes. Actually Sunanda tai does not know one thing about Naren. Ankita says what? Rushali says that Naren married you. Rushali says Sunanda tai never travels, we never thought she would come so far away from London to here. Ankita says yes so you can tell her that we got married. Karmarkar House in the bedroom

Rushali goes to Ankita and says I'm really sorry, I'm really sorry. Ankita I really didn't want to hurt you, actually all this happened so suddenly, I didn't understand. I'm so tense, if I even had the slightest clue that she would come. Ankita says don't worry, don't worry at all. She will never get to know about mine and Naren sir's relationship. I will manage. Rushali says Sunanda has arthritis and she is going to a naturopathy clinic, she has an appointment and once she recovers she will go back to London. Rushali leaves the room. Ankita looks very sad.

Karmarkar House in the main room

Rushali and Sunanda are in the main room. Rushali tells Sunanda that if she needs anything then please let me know tai. Sunanda says if I need anything I will get it myself. Let me remind you, I am not a guest at this house. I am the owner of this house. Tell me, how is Naren now? How is his health? Rushali says there is not much difference, he is getting treated now so we hope he will get better soon. Sunanda stands up and says does he still remember Ahana? Rushali says tai we are trying. Naren and Ankita are in their bedroom. Naren is telling Ankita how is Atu is the best and she would always tell him stories, true stories in his childhood whenever he wasn't feeling sleepy. Ankita is making the beds and Naren is telling her to hurry up as he wants to introduce her to his Atu, prove her wrong. Ankita asks him what he means. Naren says she would always say that I would not get a good wife, I want to show her that I've got the best girl in the world. Ankita is hesitant and she says no sir. Naren says do you not want to meet her? Ankita says no sir, it's not that. It's just so late at night, and she must be asleep. What's the use of meeting now, I will meet her tomorrow.

Arjun's car

Arjun and Ovi are in their car. Arjun is driving the car and Ovi says Arjun, ever since I have come to India you have not asked about Pia once. I mean, she is your daughter. There is metro and they have made flyovers and the highways are very nice. How about all 3 of us go and explore it? What do you say? Sunanda looks confused. Rushali and Shirish look worried. Sunanda says 3 of us? Naren says yes, you, me and Ahana. Ok mom? Rushali says Naren, you have not eaten anything. Why don't you have your breakfast? Eat. Naren says ok. Sunanda smiles. Naren says but how can I eat? Ahana has not come yet and you know I don't eat before her. Rushali and Shirish look very tense and Sunanda is looking confused. Sunanda says Naren, how did Ahana come here? Naren says I'll go get her. Rushali says no, no, why are you getting up in the middle of your breakfast? Just sit down. I will get Ahana. Precap: Rushali and Ankita are at the Karmarkar House in the bedroom. Rushali says to Ankita that now that she has come, then for now it will happen according to what she says Ankita. Ankita says so Naren sir will get married again? Rushali says there will be no wedding, we might talk about the wedding and it could go a little bit from there because we can't hurt Sunanda tai.
