This serial is getting unbelievable imaginative or so over imaginative that its confusin whether this story is about some love between Mughal emperor Akbar and Rajput princess Jodha or some fantasy show.
When serial was names Jodha Akbar i imagined it to focus on them and their relationship. But right from starting other wives, milk brother, brother-in-law, milk mother and now vishkanya's are getting into the picture.
And Jalal is less of emperor Akbar and more of Kanaiah- sometimes he runs to pacify Ruqu sometimes Jodha. And everyday one durbar scene is a must why not to see him take any important decisions for sultanat. Looks like Akbar's Diwan-e-aam and Diwan-e-khas is used to resolve only family disputes of Akbar. Ever since i started watching show almost every case is related to his family Jodha's religion conversion, Ruqu's miscarriage, moti bai's affair, abu mali betrayal, sharifuddin dhoka, adham's wedding plans, maham anga's duplicate etc etc. Once one poor guy got his wife bewafai case and that also jalal strated imaginging himself during jodha fake preganancy. Thank God jalal used brains and did not bring this case in court and resolved it in 4 walls of his palace with family help.
The next must have scene in this serial is kanaiah-yashoda ma(maham) who in reality is kans scene. Everyday maham sheds crocodile tears and our kanaiah who says he runs 100 million people sultanat on finger tips gets fooled by those tears. Our kanaiah gives a damn to his real mother who is languishing in deep hole of unrecognition, ignorance and humiliation by own son.
If all this was not enough now comes a vishkanya to assasinate jalal. And jalal instead of treating her like bandi making her sit with his mom, aunt, milk mother, wife and sister how humiliating. And then if his real mother questions he shuts her up saying husband-wife matter. I get irritated the way jalal treating his mom worst than a door mat. Poor lady has great patience and love for son. Otherwise which mom take such nonsense from a son. I think even more than jodha this hamida lady is abla nari and require help.
And jodha like typical ekta serial always crying but taking all nonsense from husband. Even when husband take gift and put on bandi's leg? Any other wife would have poured one barrel of wine on top of husband's head to reduce his ego and kicked bandi out of her house(agra fort). Its a differnent matter that husband would come back with vengence next day so be it. Its better to take some vengance of husband than lose self esteem and respect in front of bandi's and all inmates of agra fort.
To top it our kanya Jodha begum when husband came misunderstanding her letter to be love letter(because of maham) instead of walking off pushed her kanaiya off so hard he fell flat on floor and his ego hurt. So how does this kanaiah mollify his ego no no not like other man by punishing her or shouting at her or going to ther wives. Instead he uses newly arrived unknown dancer vishkanya to burn our kanya's heart.
Now that its clear we can rename JA as VKK- Vishkanya, kanya aur kanaiah
I read somewhere Akbar had conquered places of more than 12 countries of subcontinent like afghanistan, india, pakistan, nepal, burma, bangladesh, bhutan etc. Real akbar if he had done what is being shown in his name would not have conquered even a single city whole life. Its not about winning wars, its about common sense if jalal cannot understand intentionof his close family staying with them all life how did he giuess/anticipate what 100 million people want?
