Ajmer/Jaipur: Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif visited Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan and Salim Chisthi's dargah at Fatehpuri Sikri in Agra within a gap of a day, reportedly, to pray for the success of her upcoming films Dhoom 3' and Jewel of India' which are slated to be released later this year.

The diva, who celebrated her birthday in Mumbai on July 16, visited Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan immediately after the bash. A source revealed, Katrina Kaif wanted to visit Ajmer Sharif earlier, but she delayed her plans due to her busy schedule.

Notably, Katrina Kaif visits Ajmer Sharif before the release of her film or before starting any big project. Many celebrities including Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt also visit Ajmer Sharif to seek blessing.

Katrina also made an early morning visit to Sheikh Salim Chisthi's dargah at Fatehpur Sikri in Agra on July 18. The 30-year-old actress visited the dargah at 6 in the morning and tied the sacred red thread for a wish there. At her fifth trip to the dargah, Katrina Kaif said that she is a devotee of Sheikh Salim Chishti and visits the dargah often to pray for the success of her films. She also expressed a desire to shoot a film at the dargah.
