To be very honest and I hate saying things like this so I always refrain myself from doing so, but I just cannot seem to stop myself right now. Benazir is suppose to be breathtakingly beautiful, no offense, I don't think she is breathtakingly beautiful or beautiful at all. I know she is a dancer, but does it hurt to cover her up? Were women, even dancers, allowed to dress like that back then? All in all, I wish they would tone down her makeup, she looks a bit scary to me. Even if she is a dancer they should dress her up properly. I am not sure why all the guys were fainting seeing her. They should be dropping all over the place when they see Jodha.

Why is it Balaji couldn't find a local young attractive girl?

She looks every bit of her age, her flesh is oozing out of her clothes...

I fail to understand whats so special about her that she had to be flown in from Dubai.

think her character is short and they wanted a cheapo entry straight from Arabian nights type of clothes..so that jodha not even jalonifies all begums of jalal including his ammijaan hurl belans at him and he doesnt get refuge in any of his begums hojra at night...jalal will face harem revolt..and IF harem revolt too

No telly girl would dress so skimpily ..well dancers thoae days were like that..so just tolerate for so time

In 16th century not even dance girls would wear such skimpy clothes- they would be covered head to toe because if you look at some pictures in akbarnama and jehangirnama of celebrations even dance girls are fully covered from top to bottom.

There is a story of jehangir( he was Salim then) visiting some temple near Maharastra while on expedition and he sees all those women pictures exposed he ordered them all covered with cloth. So when for stone carving they feel offended so a real woman we can only imagine the norms in those times.

It is said that women in harem including empress would be fully covered(including eyes) except in front of close male relatives(husband, son, father, brother, father-in-law). Otherwise they had to be full covered all the time from top to bottom not even showing their eyes(for royal family women).

Dance girls could show their faces unlike royal family women. That was the only concession.

Guys she is exotic looking and that's why they have her. Calm down now. Jodha is also exotic when she has her hair down. But she cannot play that role as she is a princess not a dancer. Just enjoy
