Ch 13
As she spoke her eyes sparkled with determination, his gaze lowered to her lips, that were trembling slightly in anger. His eyes darkened before he launched forward taking her into a wild and passionate kiss.
Khushi nearly had a heart attack as she felt his lips moving seductively on her lips. After a brief moment of shock her eyes widen as she realized what was happening. Her tiny hands pushed against his broad shoulders with shocking force.
Arnav stumbled backwards as his back hit the wall of the elevator.
They stood there breathing heavily...
Flashback
...his lips tasted her honey dipped tender lips in a sensual kiss...
End of Flashback
They both stared at each other with confusion as unknown yet familiar feelings stuck their souls.
However the confused stares were short lived as something seemed to snap within him when he saw her accusing eyes glaring at him.
An unknown rage spread within him as he charged back towards her.
"WHAT THE!!! HOW DARE YOU PUSH ME???"
He screamed as he pinned Khushi against the elevator wall.
He was about to slam his lips against hers once again when...,
"...OOO Chumma Chumma De De...Chumma Chumma De De Chumma..."
Startled by the sound, they turned to see the elevator doors open, revealing the two PAs.
Adi and Pinky stood there gaping at the couple tangled in an intimate position.
"OOO Chumma Chumma De De...Chumma Chumma De De Chumma..."
The continuous sound of the song made Pinky glare at Adi with frustration.
When Adi continued to give her a confused stare she hit him with her elbow. And after what seemed like a million years Adi finally reached into his pocket and turned off the 'ringer' on his phone.
He looked back up and his jaw fell to the ground as full realization of the situation dawned upon him.
He gasped out loud at the thought of what must have transpired between the couple in the elevator.
The sounds of all the gasping snapped the couple back to earth causing them to immediately pull away from each other.
Caught in probably one of the most awkward moments ever, Adi, as usual started giggled out of nervousness.
Arnav glared at Adi, ready to punch him, which immediately put a stop to Adi's giggles.
Before things could get even more awkward ASR marched out, grabbed onto Adi's collar and dragged him down the hall.
While all Pinky could do was gulp and pray her boss wouldn't reciprocate the same with her.
As they reached a safe distance away from all ears ASR bit out,
"ADI I thought I asked you to give me the DAMN list of people who were going to attend the meeting!!! Then how the HELL did I NOT get the INFORMATION that a GUPTA was also going to be part of it????"
If looks could kill then Adi would have surely been a dead man by now.
Adi trembled and managed to squeak out,
"Sir...I...I wasn't aware of it either...I had no idea a Gupta would be part of the meeting...I..."
"Well now that we do know this deal is OFF!" ASR roared!!
Adi's eyes widen with shock and quickly spoke up,
"But...Sirrr...if we back down then the Gupta would think we can not handle this challenge. It would look as if the Raizadas aren't prepared for such deals..."
And there Adi had used the trump card...
ASR glared at him, and tighten his hold on his collars ready to choke him.
"The Raizadas NEVER back down from a challenge Do You Understand DAMMIT?? This DAMN DEAL is on!!"
And saying that he marched towards the lounge to wait for Mr. Singhania.
Adi sighed with relief and thanked the Almighty for saving him from practically almost being murdered by the ASR.
He could only hope that Pinky would be able to handle her boss as well.
...
Meanwhile poor Pinky was also facing similar issues with her boss.
Pinky decided to do it the emotional way hoping that it would work.
"Mam your Dad is counting on you, he has finally retired after long persuasions from your side. This deal is your chance to prove to him that you can handle everything and he has nothing to worry about."
Khushi thought back to her recent conversations with her Dad. It was true, he was very worried about her and the last thing she ever wanted was for him to worry more about this deal.
Surrendering, she gave a brief nod to Pinky, and also headed to the lounge to wait for Mr. Singhania.
...
Just as she approached the lounge she saw him sitting there too.
She sat down quietly, fighting the strong urge to punch him in the face.
The two sat there for a good 10 minutes shooting daggers at each other until they were called inside Mr. Singhania's office.
They walked inside to find Mr. Singhania accompanied with two other people in the room, who were currently looking out the window.
"Sir Mr. Raizada and Ms. Gupta..." said the secretary.
Mr. Singhania looked up and smiled.
"Ahh...yes come on in..."
Hearing Mr. Singhania speak, the two at the window turned around with broad smiles and came forward to greet them.
"Hey... what's up long time no see huh..."
"Hey Maan I'm doing fine. Congratulations to you and Geet."
The two smiled at Arnav.
Geet then turned towards Khushi, excited to finally meet her again, she was about to inch forward to engulf her into a huge bear hug when she saw the look on Khushi's face. Restraining herself for Khushi's sake, she instead raised her hand forward and shook hands with Khushi.
Geet: Hi I'm Geet and this is my fiance Maan.
Khushi smiled, pleased to meet the sweet girl.
Khushi: Hi I'm Khushi. Nice to meet you Geet and Maan. And congratulations to the both of you. We insure you we will make your wedding the most memorable event of your life.
Geet: Thank you so much. Our wedding will definitely be one very memorable event especially with you and Ar...Mr. Raizada part of it...
Khushi stared at Geet with confusion for a second when Geet quickly spoke up again.
Geet: I mean with such talented people like you and Mr. Raizada I'm sure our wedding will be the most memorable event of our life!
Khushi smiled while Geet sighed inwardly in relief.
Maan glanced towards Geet smiling and shaking his head slightly.
After the brief introductions Arnav and Khushi signed the contracts.
The rest of the morning was spent with further discussions about the wedding plans.
...
"Alright then Mr. Raizada and Ms. Gupta we'll start from tomorrow."
Mr. Singhania shook hands with them and left for a client meeting.
Arnav and Khushi left soon after Mr. Singhania, after final handshakes with Maan and Geet.
Just as the door closed shut Maan came up behind Geet hugging her.
Geet sighed and said softly,
"Maan, I feel so bad for them. I really hope both of them get back together soon. When I saw Khushi I wanted to hug her but she didn't remember me."
Maan turned Geet around and said,
"Geet...I know but they are both going through a very tough stage right now. Their memory losses have been very tough on them and...
Geet: I know but Khushi...
Maan: Geet the only reason why Arnav even remembered me was because we've known each other for years. Khushi and you only meet a few years back in a party. You can still be there for Khushi even if she may not remember you right now.
Geet nodded but still felt apprehensive.
Maan: Don't worry we are all here for them and their love isn't that weak to not be able to withstand this storm in their lifes. When the time comes they will definitely be back together. I have full faith in their love."
Geet smiled feeling much better and lighter,
"You're right Maan, all will get better soon!!"
They both hugged each other and prayed to God that Arnav and Khushi would get back together soon.
...
Arnav sat in his car and picked up his phone to dial his Dad's number. But before it could ring he ended the call as he thought to himself,
"No, I think I'll manage this deal on my own. No need to involve Dad in this. Besides I'm more than enough to deal with the Gupta girl!!! Just give it a few days and she'll drop this deal on her own!!"
Arnav smirked to himself before barking orders at the driver giving him directions to his favorite restaurant nearby for lunch with another client.

Khushi reached her office and sat down.
She pulled out her phone and dialed her Dad's number. She put her phone down as she suddenly recalled that he must be in the flight.
"Its better if I don't tell him about the Raizadas, it'll only worry him more." She thought to herself.
She turned back towards the huge stack of files on her desk and resumed her work for the day.
Meanwhile Shashi and Garima settled themselves in there seats.
After a while Shashi turned towards Garima saying,
"You think she'll be okay all on her own?"
Garima smiled back at her husband,
"I think so, our little girl has grown up."
Shashi: You're right and if not we are always there to help her. And we can always send NK over to help her
Garima sighed inwardly wishing things in her daughter's life weren't so complicated.
...
Later that night Khushi stood in front of her stove making jalebis and thought to herself,
"What is wrong with me? How could I let that Raizada kiss me like that?? Why didn't I slap him??"
She closed her eyes for a brief moment, she could still feel the sensations of his kiss on her lips.
Her heart raced as she thought,
"even though it was wrong why did the kiss feel so right??"
Meanwhile Arnav sat in front of his laptop thinking to himself,
"Why did I kiss her?? What made me kiss her??
He shut his laptop with a bang, as his frustration grew.
He closed his eyes to regain his control. But just as he closed his eyes he could only recall their passionate kiss and her hazel eyes.
"Why did those accusing eyes sting me so much?? Why did her lips feel so familiar?? Why...
Arnav's eyes widen...
